[IPYG] IPYG Goes Sikh -IPYG Members' Experience of Sikhism-

[IPYG]

[IPYG] IPYG Goes Sikh -IPYG Members' Experience of Sikhism-

Today we live in a world of religious diversity and freedom alongside countless religious conflicts. As much as tolerance towards religions has grown, so has hostility. According to statistics, it is an undeniable fact that 80% of conflicts and wars are caused by religious conflicts, which means that the achievement of peace between religions is critical for world peace.

Meanwhile, on Oct 26th 2019, IPYG - International Peace Youth Group; a youth Peace NGO under 'Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light' (HWPL; Chairman Man Hee Lee) - hosted their 'Religious Experience Camp' at the Sikh Temple in Pocheon, Gyeonggi province, Republic of Korea (South Korea) to raise awareness of the need for peace among religions to religious people and civil society.

IPYG has been carrying out its global "Legislate Peace" campaign since 2013, together with HWPL and IWPG (International Women's Peace Group), to urge global heads of state to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War. This international law consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses to achieve world peace and was proclaimed in 2016 by HWPL to spread a culture of peace.

IPYG members visited the Sikh temple and were educated on courtesy, service, table manners etc. This began with wearing a bandanna, taking off socks and washing one's hands. Then they learned Sikh greetings, served, cooked chapati and curry, and watched a traditional Sikh martial arts performance.

IPYG also hosted its WARP Office Interfaith Dialogue on discussion of the theme 'Is Religious Peace compulsory for world peace?' A panels of Christian and Sikh speakers all answered 'Yes'. The Sikh panel said "In Sikhism, we teach that people have to live like brothers and sisters of same parents. If we keep follow the way of HWPL's campaign then the world peace will definitely come true."

All participants appreciated the welcome and kindness of Sikh members, and wished for world peace to be achieved in the near future.

As a member of HWPL Supporters ONE, I think that more and more religious experience camps should be hosted in order to understand and tolerate another's religions and prevent conflict and war in the world. People need to talk, discuss and understand one another; not shoot, bomb or kill one another because of religion.

I'm so sure that HWPL, IWPG and IPYG's "Legislate Peace" Project will eventually make world peace :)

Peace!

[HWPL] The True Story of HWPL. Yes, it is REAL!

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The True Story of HWPL. Yes, it is REAL!

Norwegian Nobel Institute, Norway

Early this year, HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Man Hee Lee) published 'The True Story of HWPL: Peace and Cessation of War', distributing 2069 copies to national and public libraries and museums, national assemblies and universities in 195 countries.

It contains everything about the worldwide peace campaign of HWPL, IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) through the WARP (World Alliance Religions' Peace) Summit and the Legislate Peace campaign for the enactment of the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) at the UN.

Peace Museum Vienna, Austria

The book tells who they (the peace advocates of HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) met, what they did, the result of their work and their future plan. People from various fields and backgrounds including politicians, diplomats, religious leaders, educational experts, legal experts, the press and teachers praised and greeted HWPL's peace work and campaign.

Parliamentary Library of Romania, National Library of Greece
The True Story of HWPL will serve as definite proof of HWPL's peace work and campaign, and also shows the efforts and enthusiasm of the peace advocates. HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee published it to cease all conflicts and wars, and also pass on world peace to future generations as an eternal legacy. If you want to read the book 'The True Story of HWPL', please contact HWPL through their official homepage and email below :)

[HWPL] The 1st HWPL Religious Youth Peace Camp in Korea

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The 1st HWPL Religious Youth Peace Camp in Korea

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Man Hee Lee) reported that, alongside IPYG (International Peace Youth Group), it hosted its HWPL Religious Youth Peace Camp for the first time in Korea from June 22nd-23rd under the title 'HWPL Religious Youth Peace Camp for the Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula' to raise youth awareness of religious conflicts and wars at Ulsan Hyanggyo (Confucian school) and Shimkye Temple in Gyeongju.

Participants experienced Korean traditional culture such as traditional Korean etiquette, tea ceremony and folk games to learn the culture of virtues, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom.

Moreover, they attended a WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Office meeting - one of HWPL's main initiatives - held at Shimkye Temple in Gyeongju. A panel of Buddhist, Christian, Confucian and Cheondoist speakers discussed about a world of peace and the role of a religious leader.

On June 23rd, participants learned about the Buddhist culture, beginning with a Buddhist service at 5am and a lecture on Buddhism by Monk Geosan who was on the Buddhist panel at the WARP Office meeting on the 22nd. A quiz program under the title "Mission Challenge to Achieve Unification" was given to underline that one must 'move' and 'work' to achieve world peace and unification of the Korean peninsular.

As a member of HWPL Supporters One, I think that this program is as significant as the daily public school curriculum given the many ongoing conflicts and wars in Korea and the world. Young people must learn to understand and tolerate each other beyond race, religion, sex, nationality and ideology. This camp was the first of its kind but I hope more and more students and youth will join HWPL's Religious Peace Youth Camp in the future. They will become messengers and advocates for peace who bring world peace faster and sooner. I really hope so:)

Peace!

Mr. Lee from Chundogyo and Venerable Neunghae of the Buddhist faith both agreed on ensuring mutual respect and respect for life to lead the world into peace. They also said that peace is the basis of their religion.

Pastor Kim answered according to the Bible, saying that ensuring peace is salvation and healing for all humanity that God has created, leading to a world without death or pain, as originally existed.

[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

[HWPL]

[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

On April 21st, 8 bomb terror incidents happened at Catholic and Protestant churches celebrating Easter service in Sri Lanka. No group has yet come forward as the perpetrator behind the terror attack. It is not easy to know who masterminded it because Sri Lanka has a tragic history of racial conflict that ended in 2009, as well as religious tension among Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus. However, those three religions are hostile to Christianity because Sri Lanka was once colonized by Portugal, Netherlands and the United Kingdom which have a Christian background. So now it is very uncertain who carried out this terror attack against churches.

Given that there are so many religious conflicts, it is obvious that religious leaders need to talk to each other to resolve such conflicts and make world peace.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) has been carrying out global initiatives for world peace since 2014. The WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Office meeting is one of them. It hosts open forums and discussions for religious leaders and the audience to discuss and talk so that different religions can understand each other and resolve their misconceptions.

Throughout the WARP Office meetings and interfaith dialogue, panels and participants search for a common goal and truth among religions which can eventually guide them to world peace and religious harmony. Now there are 250 offices in 128 countries today.

At the meeting, each panel receives three questions from the main topic plus one or two additional questions from the other panel or audience regarding the topic. There are some rules to prevent 'chaotic' discussion such as panels having to answer questions according to their scripture and must listen to the mediator from HWPL's WARP Office.

Currently, leaders of the Christiani, Buddhist, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Zoroastrian faiths - to name a few - have all participated in person at the WARP Office's global branches, and an Intercontinental Online WARP Office meeting has recently been set up via YouTube Live.

It is very appealing and fascinating that an audience can listen to what is written in each religious scripture in a good and polite setting without conflict or quarrelling.

[HWPL] The 6th HWPL Intercontinental Online WARP Office Meeting - About the Beginning of Man

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The 6th HWPL Intercontinental Online WARP Office Meeting - About the Beginning of Man

Original Video YouTube Video Link

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) has been carrying out global initiatives for world peace such as the Legislate Peace campaign, May 25th Peace Walk and Peace Letter campaign, with the Declaration of Peace Cessation of War (DPCW), Peace Education and the Alliance of Religions as the basis.

HWPL's Intercontinental Online (and Offline) WARP Office meeting is a part of the Alliance of Religions. According to statistics, 80% of wars are caused by religious conflict. Mr. Man Hee Lee's idea is that all religions talk and discuss about each other's doctrines and beliefs, so that they can understand each other, resolve and prevent conflict. The ultimate goal is to help religious leaders find the best truth among all religions and scriptures so they can be one in religion and belief, which would mean the end of all religiously-motivated conflicts and wars.

HWPL's WARP (World Alliance of Religions' and Peace) Office meeting provides the perfect platform to achieve Chairman Man Hee Lee's objective, which has been hosted globally since 2014 and has assisted religious leaders and believers to talk and discuss to find the truth and to understand each other for world peace.

Now in 2019, there are 250 WARP Office branches in 128 countries with countless WARP Office meetings hosted. In the case of the Intercontinental Online WARP Meeting, this is the 6th one.

The topic of the 6th Intercontinental Online WARP Office Meeting was 'About the Beginning of Man' which was hosted on May 15th with panels from the Christian, Muslim, Zoroastrian, Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist faiths. It incorporated two sessions with one same question and two different questions posed for the panels.

Session 1 - Sikh, Zoroastrian, Christian and Muslim faiths

Questions for Session 1
1. Does your scripture have a record of the beginning of man? (When was he/she created and what's one's name?)

2. How does your scripture describe his/her appearance? (According to some scriptures, mankind is created according to the image of God)

3. Who was created first? Man or Woman?

Session 2 - Zoroastrian, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu faiths

Questions for Session 2
1. Does your scripture have a record of the beginnings of man? (When was he/she created and what's one's name?)

2. Is it written in your scripture about what God asked man after creating him/her?

3. Does your scripture have a record of a family tree and genealogy?

Religious leaders discussed and answered questions passionately and curiously towards other religions. It was also very interesting that they received questions from online participants in an interactive chatroom.

It was interesting to listen and learn about each religion and the similarities between doctrines about the creation and the beginnings of mankind. Some religions have their own unique doctrine about the origins of mankind and the world, which fascinated the participants.

If you missed the meeting, don't worry :) There is still a chance on YouTube (Above links). It doesn't matter if you have a religion or not. If you want to stop world conflicts and wars, and achieve world peace then this is the video you'll want to watch :)

Peace!

[HWPL]

[HWPL] HWPL Incheon Branch Hosted WARP Office

HWPL's (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairman: Man Hee Lee) effort towards world peace continued on as its Incheon branch hosted a WARP Office in March 2019.

HWPL's Incheon branch reported that they hosted its 'Mansoo, Joo-an WARP Office's 11th Interfaith Dialogue Meeting' at its office in March. HWPL's WARP Office is a meeting for interfaith dialogue between religions to resolve global conflicts, helping religious leaders and believers to participate in inter-religious discussion and promote religious understanding and harmony for the cause of world peace.

Cheondogyo, Buddhist and Christian panels joined in the event to provide evidence for their respective scripture including when and how world peace through religious harmony is promised within each scripture.

The Buddhist panel said that people can co-exist through mutual harmony and peace by respecting each other, while the Cheondogyo panel said that each person must perceive the truth in scriptures to unify people, society, race and country.

The Christian panel explained that the Bible is the truth because the reality of the Old and New Testaments have appeared through 'Prophecy and Fulfillment', adding that, 'True world peace can be achieved when God's kingdom is created on earth and when we overcome Satan's world and ourselves with Jesus' true words'.

After the discussion, all panels acknowledged their responsibility as religious leaders and promised that they would keep participating in HWPL's events to help fulfil their pursuit of world peace.

HWPL has been regularly hosting its WARP Office 'Interfaith Dialogue' since 2014 in more than 70 countries, and about 3000 leaders from most world religions have been working jointly with HWPL.
