[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

On April 21st, 8 bomb terror incidents happened at Catholic and Protestant churches celebrating Easter service in Sri Lanka. No group has yet come forward as the perpetrator behind the terror attack. It is not easy to know who masterminded it because Sri Lanka has a tragic history of racial conflict that ended in 2009, as well as religious tension among Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus. However, those three religions are hostile to Christianity because Sri Lanka was once colonized by Portugal, Netherlands and the United Kingdom which have a Christian background. So now it is very uncertain who carried out this terror attack against churches.

Given that there are so many religious conflicts, it is obvious that religious leaders need to talk to each other to resolve such conflicts and make world peace.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) has been carrying out global initiatives for world peace since 2014. The WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Office meeting is one of them. It hosts open forums and discussions for religious leaders and the audience to discuss and talk so that different religions can understand each other and resolve their misconceptions.

Throughout the WARP Office meetings and interfaith dialogue, panels and participants search for a common goal and truth among religions which can eventually guide them to world peace and religious harmony. Now there are 250 offices in 128 countries today.

At the meeting, each panel receives three questions from the main topic plus one or two additional questions from the other panel or audience regarding the topic. There are some rules to prevent 'chaotic' discussion such as panels having to answer questions according to their scripture and must listen to the mediator from HWPL's WARP Office.

Currently, leaders of the Christiani, Buddhist, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Zoroastrian faiths - to name a few - have all participated in person at the WARP Office's global branches, and an Intercontinental Online WARP Office meeting has recently been set up via YouTube Live.

It is very appealing and fascinating that an audience can listen to what is written in each religious scripture in a good and polite setting without conflict or quarrelling.

Peace!

[HWPL] The Last Peace Office Meeting of 2018! -Basic Knowledge of Religions and Rituals-

On 28th Dec 2018, Daejun-Choongchung branch of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) hosted a Peace Office Meeting for Comparative Scriptural Discussion helping religions understand each other for the achievement of world peace.

HWPL Daejun-Choongchung branch invited leaders of Buddhist, Muslim and Christian faiths to compare and understand the doctrines of the other's religion :) The leaders of respective religion talked and discussed about 'Basic knowledge of a religion. Who created it? When and who recorded the book?' and 'Rituals and ceremonies of a religion. Service, prayer etc.'.

The head manager from the headquarters of the Yeoraejong of Korean Buddhism said "Buddha left home to deliver answers to the four phases of life and peace, and to prevent war. Buddha didn't deny God, but he didn't believe in him either. Only the truth can be believed."

Imam of Islam said "Islam had begun from the prophet Muhammad and we worship God according to the will of God and the Quran. Nothing is recorded in the Quran justifying wars and killings in the name of God. Extremists and terrorists who murder and cause conflict are neither Muslims nor believers." He added "If you want to know about Islam, please read the Quran not the press."

Pastor Won, the member of the Bible study committee of HWPL, emphasized "To remove enmity from Christianity, we have to have dialogue after perceiving the knowledge of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Shincheonji church of Jesus has been testifying the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Bible to show that the Bible is a reliable scripture."

A member of IPYG (International Peace Youth Group, under HWPL) said "It is time to understand Buddhism and Islam. It is very significant that different religions can come together at an event like this. I am very touched that HWPL is working for the harmony of religions beyond religious ideology and without monetary support from the government."

Writer's comment : The Peace Office of HWPL is doing very good job. We have to keep on carrying out more discussions and meetings in 2019.

[HWPL] The Peace Office Meeting! - 'Relationship between Religion and Peace'

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The Peace Office Meeting! - 'Relationship between Religion and Peace'

Greetings! Family of Peace :)

Today, I have brought short news for the world peace.

On 15th December 2018, the western Seoul-Gyeonggi branch of WARP (World Alliance of Religions' and Peace) Office of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) hosted a Bible Comparison Discussion.

The topic that day was 'Relationship between Religion and Peace', and the main questions were 'How is peace defined within your respective religions?' and 'Why is peace so significant?'.

Mr. Heungsub Lee of the Confucius Institute, Mr. Changgi Baek of Chun Bikyeong-Koressance, Prof. Jaebum Ahn (Theologist), other VIPs from various professions and 50 citizens participated in discussion to understand one another’s religion.

Mr. Lee, who spoke on the Confucius panel, said that "Moderation (Middle path) is about being neither too open about one's emotion nor too controlled so that one remains in the middle."

Mr. Baek of the Chunbukyeong-Koressance said "Confucianism, Buddhism and Christianity started differently but the destination is the same. When we believe in religion with just a string of hope will become one some day and world peace will come true."

Theology Prof. Jaebum Ahn said "God is the main body of peace and Jesus came to the world as the messenger of peace 2000 years ago (Luke 19:38). Now the world is in constant suffering and war but the book of Revelation explains the concrete process to creating world peace. Eventually, all of God's creation will return to its original form and to a world of peace with God, as HE promises."

Ms. Miyoung Gwon, who participated in discussion in the audience, said "I have been seeing the conflicts and disputes among religious people via the press, but it is amazing to see religious leaders trying to begin a new era through learning and open dialogue, and not insisting on one's own opinions. I think that this is a is very meaningful meeting and discussion."

Writer's comment : The reporter for this article introduced HWPL as running 250 branch offices in 127 countries to make world peace since the 2014 WARP summit :) As an HWPL supporter, I'm always happy to hear news of events about HWPL and its WARP Office. I hope the discussion delivers a message of world peace through the alliance of religions :)

[HWPL] Come Everyone! Welcome to the WARP Office! -The 7th Scripture Comparative Discussion at Jeonbuk branch

[HWPL]

[HWPL] Come Everyone! Welcome to the WARP Office! -The 7th Scripture Comparative Discussion at Jeonbuk branch

Greetings! Family of Peace! :)

The chairman of HWPL, Mr. Man Hee Lee, has said that 80% of global conflicts are caused by religion. HWPL has been carrying out its main initiatives for the cause of world peace. This is why I support HWPL's activity and its DPCW. I also want the DPCW to be introduced at the U.N.

Religiously-inspired wars must cease

The war between Catholics and Protestants

To resolve misunderstandings and conflict among various religions in today’s world, one of HWPL’s main initiatives is the WARP Office consisting of a panel discussion between different religious leaders on their scriptures and seeks to find the truth among these scriptures. Panels discuss and exchange opinions about one another’s religious perspective towards a certain topic :)

WARP Office Sessions
HWPL's WARP Office is currently taking place in Korea too. On the 25th, the 7th Scriptural Comparative Discussion was held at HWPL Jeonbuk branch. HWPL's branch manager Jooncheol Kyung, Pastor Seungho Lee, Monk Yongbo and Korean Confucian teacher Jaeoh Han took part in the day’s discussions.

Religious leaders and leading professors also participated in the discussion as the audience. The topic of the discussion was 'Good and Evil: What is the cause of evil? How can we resolve it?'

Senior HWPL representative, Mr. Kyung, began the discussion, saying "World peace is the desire of all mankind. Men have been struggling to achieve world peace but it hasn't yet happened because of religious conflicts. The only answer for world peace is in a scripture which the heavens have given to the world through a holy man."

Panels answered questions based on their scripture and participants were able to share and understand one another’s religion.

HWPL's WARP Offices have been operating since 2015 and there are now more than 250 WARP Offices throughout the world. More and more religious leaders are participating in these offices in an effort to understand, share and, ultimately, achieve world peace :)

I think this is a very positive and beneficial step which can bring peace to our world. I hope all religious people come to the WARP Offices and talk about their scriptures in order to remove all religious conflict and make world peace :)

Peace!

[HWPL News] How religion can help make a more peaceful society

[HWPL News]

How religion can help

make a more peaceful society

Religious leaders gather to discuss how religion can help make a more peaceful society.
The event is held as part of the United Nations Interfaith Harmony Week held from January 5 to March 5.

Religious discrimination that insist that only they are right ends up creating severe religious extremisms.
That is driving the world into a fear of violence and terrorism.

It is very important to establish open communications between religious leaders.

This where religious leaders of the world unite as one and hold open discussions and work towards making sure when possible that the power of their minds become and stay united as one.
Peace begins with respect for each other.

I will be supporting until the day where the whole world is at peace arrives.
Currently, I have strong hopes that this world being filled with guns, nuclear weapons, wars, and vanity comes to an end and that the world becomes completely filled with peace.

[HWPL news] London Religious Leaders had a dialogue to find a solution to peaceful world

[HWPL news]

London Religious Leaders had a dialogue to find a solution to peaceful world

▲ UK World Alliance Religions' Peace Office

I have heard the news that London Religious Leaders had a dialogue to find a solution to peaceful world.

Although they believe in different religions - Islam, Sikhism, Hare Krishna, Jainism and Buddhism,
I thought all the participants who have gathered to discuss the commonalities among their scriptures to spread the message of world peace, are true Religious Leaders who can lead humanity to life.

It is important to achieve world peace and the purpose that Creator had set upon creation of mankind.
The most important of all, is to achieve world peace together.
Until now, world without wars was so vague to us.
Although we wanted to say it is possible, but we thought it is impossible.

But Chairman of HWPL, Mr. Man Hee Lee, has clear answer to cease the war.

As a part of the effort, World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Offices (WARP Offices) were built around the world. Religious leaders come together and have a dialogue to find a solution to create peaceful world.

There is no doubt that this will become a foundation to achieve world peace.
I believe that if the religions, the biggest cause of war become one under peace, there will be a huge change in the world.

Do you want war or peace?

Whoever hears this question, everyone will answer: “I want to live in a peaceful world with people I love.”
As I support the leaders working for peace, I would also like to participate in the peace movement.

If we gather our heart together, we can make world peace with our hands
Thank you for reading my post!
