HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman Man Hee Lee) is a non-governmental organization purposed to cease all wars and achieve world peace. It has been carrying out peace initiatives to pass on sustainable world peace that transcends politics, religion, race and culture in 170 countries.

HWPL has more than 70 branches in South Korea, and HWPL Gimhae branch in Buwon-Dong has more than 1000 members. Branch director, Mr. Yonghwan Hwang, said, "HWPL desires a peaceful world without continuous wars, hostilities and conflicts. We are focusing on three main peace initiatives which are the introduction of the DPCW at the UN's general assembly, WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) office meetings for interfaith dialogue, and peace education and culture.

Branch Director Mr. Hwang said, "The DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War - a new international law drafted by HWPL) has the power to cease all wars and is the definite answer for world peace. More than 80% of wars throughout world history have occurred because of religious conflicts, so we are now carrying out 'Interfaith Dialogues' to resolve and prevent religious conflicts."

Mr. Hyungmin Kim, Assistant Manager of IPYG (International Peace Youth Group, a sub-group of HWPL) Gimhae branch, said, "Peace education is a core value. We have the duty to teach the true value of world peace to young generations today and to pass on world peace to future generations."

Branch Director Hwang added that "We want people to perceive HWPL without distorted perception, not seeing HWPL as a group of religious people."

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman Man Hee Lee) WARP (World Alliance Religions' Peace) Office Eastern Busan-Gyeongnam Changwon branch hosted 'We Are One' bazaar at Hanseo Building in Joongang Dong on Nov 2nd.

The bazaar was hosted by Gongduk Mercy Group, Han-Ultari, IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group). Members of every group donated many items including food, clothes, toys and household items etc.

Moreover, a face-painting booth and photo-zones were also set up for visitors' convenience. All profits from the bazaar will be donated to marginalized neighbors, a free meal service for homeless people and elderly care homes.

Monk Gyeongjin from Gongduk Mercy Group said: "I'm happy to have this opportunity to help lonely and marginalized neighbors through HWPL's WARP Office Changwon branch. I will keep working together with HWPL to carry out love for the local community."

[HWPL] The Philippines Press Reports on May 25th Peace Walk

Greetings, family of peace :)

Today I bring you good news reported by the Philippines press on May 25th. The Philippines is a close ally of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee Lee), as they continue to work together with HWPL on their world peace campaign. This precious relationship began when HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee put a permanent end to the destructive 40-year-long conflict between Catholics and Muslims on the island of Mindanao.

HWPL's peace agreement on the island of Mindanao was followed by an MOU made with the Department of Education to benefit schools, universities, libraries and museums, as well as an MOU made with the Philippine press. Since then, the Philippines has participated in HWPL's peace campaign annually.

After the peace agreement, the island of Mindanao established 'HWPL Day' to commemorate the peace agreement and to thank HWPL.

It's no surprise, therefore, that the Philippines also joined in HWPL's peace walk this year, which the Philippines' press didn't miss reporting about :)

From the articles above, we can see that everyone wants the same thing: world peace without conflict or war. Regardless of one’s nationality, religion, sex, ideology or social status, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t want peace :)

This is the will of humanity: maintaining a peaceful world without injustice, violence, sorrow or death. The task of passing on a peaceful world to future generations is a solemn and noble one.

I hope we all work for world peace with HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee through the DPCW :)

The 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk was hosted in many cities around the world. Press and reporters didn't miss the brilliant peace work by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Man Hee Lee), IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group).

On May 25th 2019, the 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk was jointly hosted by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee), IWPG (International Women's Peace Group, Chairwoman: Ms. Hyeonsuk Yoon) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group, General Director: Mr. Youngmin Jung) in many cities across Korea and the world.

Political and diplomatic leaders, religious leaders, heads of NGOs and citizens from all over the world joined in chairman Man Hee Lee's peace work. Prominent leaders who participated in the event at Olympic Park, Seoul, gave congratulatory speeches for these peace groups and their members.

"....It is 'Hope' that he found through the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War).....hope to live as someone without the threat of bullets or fear of homicide. If leaders in all countries truly love their country and people, then they must sign for the 10 articles and 38 clauses. This is humanity's only path for survival. If we keep on provoking one another, will the earth survive? Therefore, we must stop killing one another...."

'We all have to work together for world peace; for me, you and for us.'

Don't worry about 'How can we...?'
because when you let yourself go for this peace work, the rest of the world will follow you for world peace. Passionate advocates for world peace (e.g. Chairman Man Hee Lee) will work with you for the eternal goal of world peace.

[HWPL] Slogans for World Peace - 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk

In 2019, HWPL's (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) Peace Walk Campaign will host its 6th annual commemoration on May 25th. Chairman Man Hee Lee has been travelling around the world to 'walk' with people for world peace through the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War).

From March 14th, members worldwide from HWPL, IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) have been sending Peace Letters to presidents and U.N. ambassadors in 193 countries registered at the U.N.

HWPL will advocate for world peace on May 25th with 6 significant slogans.

1. RE: Peace Letter, the Miracle of 193 Countries. May 25th, replies to Peace Letters create a miracle.

2. Letter of Peace and a Reply. Your answer to this letter is the answer to peace

3. Letter of Peace or Just a Piece of Paper? Your reply is proof of the wishes of peace from people in 193 countries

4. Reply: Writing Peace Again, Writing Peace Together. Civil society's call for peace is answered with a reply from the President

5. Reply to Peace Letter. One voice that gives the answer for peace.

People around the world have written Peace Letters to politicians and diplomats in every country to urge them to support the DPCW: the only answer for world peace. As representatives within each country, presidents and ambassadors should reply to the Peace Letters sent by people in their country because peace is the will of 'people in the world'.

What do people want from their leaders? The answer: 'Yes, I want peace. I will do everything I can for world peace'. Many people want world peace, and when people with political and diplomatic influence and authority support world peace and discuss its implementation through the DPCW, it will create dramatic progress towards peace.

Answering the Peace Letter shows official support for, and a positive stance towards, world peace. It shows the will of every state leader for a peaceful country and a peaceful world. It is the same as saying 'I love my people, country and the world'.

Meanwhile, what do we have to do? You may be thinking, 'What can an insignificant person without influence and power like myself do?'

Thankfully, there are certain things that we can do for the world. We have to 'walk together' in strong solidarity with HWPL, IWPG and IPYG to carry out their Peace Campaign. We have to join the 6th annual commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk at the event or via Youtube Live as passionate peace advocates. We can also write Peace Letters to our presidents and U.N. ambassadors within our respective countries through HWPL.

Chairman Man Hee Lee and people around the world will continue to write Peace Letters to prime ministers and ministers in each department in each country. If anyone really wants a peaceful world to be achieved for the current and next generations, we have to move, work and walk together with HWPL and their peace advocates.
