[HWPL] DPCW of HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee and the Libyan Civil War

[HWPL]

[HWPL] DPCW of HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee and the Libyan Civil War

Since 2011, Libya has been unable to extricate itself from long-term chaos caused by political, religious and ideological conflict. The country was again turned into a battlefield with the Libyan civil war between the Eastern LNA and Western GNA. After the Arab Spring, Libyans were looking forward to the reign of true democracy but more than 300,000 people died in the ensuing civil war. It's now 2020 and the civil war continues. People's suffering has not yet ended.

Moreover, most people around the world who regularly watch international news know that it created countless Libyan refugees fleeing from their country. It produced more innocent victims - women and children who lost precious family members. Conflict between politics, religion and ideology caused all these troubles and pain.

To solve global conflicts and wars, Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and affiliated peace advocates have been working for world peace through peace initiatives such as the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) - an international law for peace drafted by HWPL's Peace Law Committee - the 'Legislate Peace' project (Peace Signatures and Peace Letters) and Peace Education since its founding for the spreading of a culture of peace.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL
The DPCW is an international law drafted by HWPL's Peace Law Committee which consists of prominent law experts and human rights activists. The DPCW consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses that fundamentally removes and prevents the causes of war and conflict. It also contains articles for creating sustainable world peace through Peace Education and a culture of peace. So Chairman Man Hee Lee and HWPL's DPCW is the only answer for world peace.
DPCW. Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War 10 Articles and 38 Clauses

HWPL's Chairman Man Hee Lee and  peace advocates of IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) have travelled the world more than 30 times to urge all people including former and current presidents, prime ministers, politicians, law experts, religious leaders, leaders of NGO and more to support the DPCW so it can be introduced to the UN's general assembly.

Chairman Man Hee Lee gave speech at UN's assembly room in 2018 on the World's Day

The UN suggested and demanded both parties (LNA and GNA) of the Libyan Civil War to make a truce and cease civil war. As a member of HWPL Supporters One, I think the DPCW must be adopted in Libya in order to solve their conflict. The leaders of the two armies must have dialogue together with Chairman Man Hee Lee at a round table, and talk under the arbitration of Chairman Man Hee Lee to bring peace to Libya and its people. Leaders must be held responsible for what they have caused in their country.

My wish is that HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee will ultimately achieve world peace through the DPCW, and create a world of sustainable peace without war.

Peace!

[HWPL] Peace Letter Campaign - Letter to Prime Minister Theresa May from an HWPL supporter

[HWPL]

[HWPL] Peace Letter Campaign - Letter to Prime Minister Theresa May from an HWPL supporter

Dear Prime Minister Theresa May,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing today to plead with you to support the new international peace law ‘Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War’ (DPCW).

I am a young man from the Middle East who moved to the UK several years ago after fleeing the brutalities of war which I witnessed first-hand. When I watch the news or read the newspaper, it is impossible not to be confronted with everyday stories of war and conflict. The victims of such tragedies are often innocent civilians. I ask myself “why?” Why are young people sent into the frontlines of war to die? Would political decision-makers who in many countries dictate the fate of other young men and women, consider sending their own child into war? Who will compensate for such a loss of life or for a mother grieving incessantly for her dead son or daughter?

This is why I am writing to ask for your support. The DPCW was initially drafted at the Royal Courts of Justice in London in November 2015 by a global NGO called ‘Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light’ (HWPL) - registered under the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) - working alongside a group of international law experts. In 2014, HWPL successfully put an end to the 40-year conflict between Catholics and Muslims on the island of Mindanao, Philippines, and was founded for the purpose of putting a permanent end to all world conflicts, thereby creating true peace between people of all nations.

It is clear that current international law has failed to resolve conflicts while victims of war continue to cry out for peace. What distinguishes the DPCW from existing peace law is its bottoms-up approach. It has secured the support of millions of women and youth including thousands of current & former heads of state, First Ladies, presidents, politicians, chief justices, educators, journalists and religious leaders. The DPCW comprises 10 articles and 38 clauses covering 'Demilitarisation', 'Reduction and prohibition of weapons manufacturing', 'Conflict resolution' and 'Spreading of peace culture'. Some of its most notable articles include:-

Article 1 Prohibition the threat or use of force
Article 2 Reduce war potential and re-purpose weapons to benefit humanity
Article 6 Settle international disputes through peaceful means
Article 9 Promote peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups
Article 10 Spread a culture of peace

The DPCW will be introduced to the United Nations for ratification as internationally-binding peace law this September. Your support is vital in ensuring we work towards a world where our children will learn how to maintain resolve conflict through peaceful means. This is surely the greatest legacy we can leave them. Again, I appeal to you to consider signing the DPCW for peace and for the wellbeing of future generations, as many other world leaders have done. Surely future generations will remember their leader as someone who wanted peace.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
James

Peace!

[HWPL] Peace Journalist Meeting in Katmandu -The First Nepal Media Forum for Peace Journalism-

[HWPL]

[HWPL] Peace Journalist Meeting in Katmandu

-The First Nepal Media Forum for Peace Journalism-

Original Article : https://bit.ly/2W9n1mp

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) has been carrying out initiatives for world peace. Spreading peace news and culture is one of them. To this end, HWPL has been liaising international reporters and journalists for world peace and Mr. Man Hee Lee believes that the press has a very significant role to play in the accomplishment of world peace.

HWPL media peace forums have been hosted in 22 countries around the world so far, and the first local HWPL media peace forum was held in Nepal.

On 19th of January, the 1st Nepal media peace forum entitled "Voice of Press Media Forum in Nepal for Peace Journalism: Peace Initiative" was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, by HWPL's public relations department, in cooperation with Nepalese journalists.

That day, HWPL introduced 3 main peace initiatives, which are :

- International law for peace

- Interfaith Dialogue

- Peace education

Moreover, the forum included :

- Presentations on peace journalism by 5 Nepalese journalists

- Discussions on ways to participate in the promotion of the Peace Initiative in Nepal

The Chief Executive Producer of Janata Television, Deependra Bikram Tamang, spoke about HWPL's peace work, which is 'Legislate Peace Campaign' for the introduction of the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of war). The producer added :

"Now it is the responsibility of the media to create an environment for the implementation of peace law through raising peoples' awareness for peace"

HWPL's media peace forum is aimed  at delivering continual peace news in order to nurture a culture of peace and human rights values around the world. It helps all journalists who want to work for world peace and build stronger ties transcending border, race and religion.

Laxman D. Pant, Track Nepal of the Media Action Nepal, said :

"Media people have a great role to play spreading peace and denouncing war. They are the real messengers of peace. Negative news tends to be reported more prominently than positive ones in Nepal. But Peace Initiative is spreading news of peace making a positive effect on societies."

That day, participants all agreed that the movement of peace journalism via HWPL's media forum is needed in Nepal. Piya Ratna Maharjan, President of Track Nepal and the co-organizer of the 1st Nepal Media Forum added:

"All Nepalese media people should be given an opportunity to hear about P.I. (Peace Initiative) and to jointly work for making a positive influence on society by spreading news of peace"

Writer's comment : I think that the press has an irreplaceable and crucial role in making world peace. That's why HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee have been continually encouraging and hosting numerous conferences and forums for the international press, reporters and journalists. People are most influenced by news and the press; therefore, I think that every media personnel must become a Peace Initiator who delivers peace news and positive thoughts about building world peace so that more people can get involved in this work and support world peace :) Good job Nepal!

Peace!
