[HWPL] Nations of Korean War and HWPL. Serial Posting 7. France and Togo

Year 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War which scarred the whole Korean peninsula in the 20th century. Two ideologies (democracy and communism) clashed on a small peninsula as 21 countries fought for the ideologies they followed and more than 50 countries helping one side with medical or financial support. All people struggled for the peace that they believed in, resulting in more than one million casualties. Today, Chairman Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) are working together with people throughout the world for sustainable world peace. I begin these serial postings recalling the Korean War, paying respect to all those who fought and sacrificed their lives in the Korean War, and inform you how Mr. Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) have been working for world peace and for future generations :)

Every week, I will write about one country that participated in the Korean War and how the country has been working together with Chairman Man Hee Lee and these peace groups for world peace :)

Today's countries are France and Togo.

France and Togo together dispatched more than 3,400 soldiers and they suffered more than 1,200 damages including death, casualties, lost and POWs. They usually served as infantry.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), who is also a veteran of the Korean War, underwent all kinds of cruelty and hardship during the Korean War and has been working for world peace since 2012. Chairman Man Hee Lee visited France few times to host the events for the world peace, and VIPs and citizens of France have been jointly worked for the world peace with HWPL with passion towards the peace and harmony. They have participated in the WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) World Peace Festival every September 18th, May 25th Peace Walk, the Legislate Peace project, WARP Meeting & Interfaith Dialogue, Peace Letter campaign and more initiatives to achieve world peace with Chairman Man Hee Lee and the peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG).

I'm certain and hopeful that people in France and Togo will keep working with Chairman Man Hee Lee and HWPL for world peace and a brighter future for future generations as they have done so far :)

A need to uphold peace, end war and conflict / Sept 30th 2019 / New Straits Times / Kuala Lumpur

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and Chairman Man Hee Lee have been carrying out their "Legislate Peace" project and global peace campaign throughout the world, while a social activist from Malaysia has been working to raise awareness of the necessity for world peace in his region and neighboring countries.

Tan Sri Lee Lam, a social activist appointed as Malaysian Ambassador of Mahasiddha Sanctuary for Universal Peace, reminder people in Malaysia and Nepal of the true value of world peace during his five-day visit to Nepal.

Mr. Lam said :

"Peace will allow us to celebrate life to the fullest and it is also essential for development and prosperity. Our leaders are also very consistent in promoting peace, ending wars and conflicts and preserving the environment"

During the trip, Mr. Lam visited the Mahasiddha Sanctuary for Universal Peace at the sacred garden. He had a discussion with the chief monk of the sanctuary and promised to give his full support in the building of the sanctuary's facility to promote peace.

"After being briefed on the proposed peace project, I assured Rinpoche (temple chief monk) that I would fully support the construction of the facility as I am committed to promote peace" he said.

It is very positive news that it's not only HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee working for world peace but many other peace activists in their respective regions :)

Cape Town to host South Africa leg of annual Peace Summit as a solution to violence / September 4th 2019 / eTurboNews / Cape Town / Republic of South Africa

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairman Man Hee Lee) hosted the 2019 HWPL World Peace Summit in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, on Sept 10th 2019. According to South African press, some ministry cabinet members and representatives from affiliated peace organisation and NGOs participated in the event.

HWPL and its Chairman Man Hee Lee have been carrying out their "Legislate Peace" project, Writing Peace Letter and Peace Education for implementation of the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) at the United Nation's general assembly.

The Republic of South Africa has been very supportive of the implementation of the DPCW after Chairman Man Hee Lee's visit to the then president of South Africa. Therefore, HWPL has been hosting numerous peace events including the World Peace Summit and "Legislate Peace" Project in Cape Town.

Press reported that HWPL is an international NGO under the UN's ECOSOC that has 170 branches and countless affiliates around the world who have been taking the lead in their global peace campaign. According to the press, hundreds of participants including politicians, legal experts, diplomats, religious leaders, leading academics and leaders of women and youth NGOs gathered in Cape Town to join in the event.

VIPs from South Africa gave keynote speeches for HWPL and the event, and participants discussed the future direction of HWPL's "Legislate Peace" project and Peace Education for world peace.

Last Wednesday, September 18th 2019, was one of the greatest days in history of Korea's peace work. HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) hosted the 2019 HWPL 918 World Peace Summit at Suwon World Cup Stadium (a.k.a. Big Bird) in Suwon, South Korea, with countless participants including HWPL chairman Man Hee Lee and peace advocates from all over the world.

The summit opened with participants' loud cheers and applause and tremendous trumpet sounds from marching bands. All participants welcomed Chairman Man Hee Lee and the general directors of IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group), and peace advocates who are taking the lead in the global peace campaign.

Volunteers for the mass game and card sections displayed HWPL and DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) during their performances, while the stadium's giant electric display board showed the achievements of HWPL's peace initiatives.

Many prominent people including the general directors of IWPG and IPYG, ex-presidents, politicians and global religious leaders delivered congratulatory speeches for the summit to urge people everywhere.

HWPL 918 World Peace Summit were held at so many cities around the world

Meanwhile, local HWPL 918 World Peace Summit events were held simultaneously in many cities in Korea. Those who participated in these local events also showed their desire for world peace.

 

One of the most impressive performances was the card section expressing Korean history and the desire for reunification of the Korean peninsula and for world peace. It touched the bottom of so many peoples' hearts, and thousands of cameras were flashing.

A media façade for the reunification of the Korean peninsula and for world peace was displayed, brightening everyone's heart. It really reflected everyone's hope for world peace and strengthened the desire to achieve world peace together.

As I watched the 2019 HWPL 918 World Peace Summit via Youtube, I was so touched that there are countless people out there who really want to pass on a peaceful world to future generations. As more people sign the DPCW and write Peace Letters through HWPL's "Legislate Peace" campaign, I'm sure that the global community will take more steps forward towards world peace :)
