[HWPL] HWPL's Peace Letter - A Letter by an Australian-Samoan Youth: "I have a duty to help bring hope and peace to our world"

HWPL's official homepage recently posted a letter from Fa'alia, who is an Australian-Samoan youth. This letter was read out in the 2019 Youth Peace Conference hosted by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) to spread their 'Peace Letter Campaign' and to urge political leaders from many countries to officially support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War).

Fa'alia said that Samoa had a history of 'many wars and conflicts' that resulted in the deaths and pain of many people in an unstable and insecure society. She emphasized that conflicts, wars, pain and violence are continually passed down to the next generation without choice.

Then, she added :

"As an Australian-Samoan youth and as a member of all the youth of this world, I have a duty to stand up and protect the youth of our nation, the youth of Australia and the youth of the world. This is a duty that prevents me from standing by idly and not taking action. I have a duty to help bring hope and peace to our world."

I'm sure that concrete, current works of peace by HWPL towards the implementation of the DPCW moved her heart for peace in Samoa and around the world. 

In her letter, she wrote that 'Through HWPL's DPCW' she could work towards and hope for world peace. Moreover, youth around the world desperately need the official support of political leaders for the DPCW to bring 'peace for all future generations'.

Likewise, she expressed the following in her letter: "I also truly hope that, through the DPCW of HWPL's peace campaign, world peace will be achieved for all humanity on earth :)

[Peace News] Peace Letter to Mr.Trump from the Youth of the World

Last 14th March, Chairman Man Hee Lee's HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and peace advocates hosted the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) at Jamsil Dome Stadium in Seoul. More than 30,000 people from the political, social, educational, legal and civil circles participated in the event to urge for the legal enactment of the DPCW at the U.N.

In particular, the event incorporated time for writing peace letters to every world leader and UN ambassador urging them to support and sign in agreement at the UN's General Assembly.

Meanwhile, in Washington D.C., U.S.A, members of IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) gathered at the Embassy of Ethiopia to write peace letters to Mr. Donald Trump, the president of U.S.A. More than 300 people including volunteers of NGOs, community representatives, and government and religious leaders participated in the event to celebrate the 3rd annual commemoration of the DPCW and write peace letters.

An Open Letter to the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump

Dear Mr. President,

We are the youth of America

At such a crucial time within our nation’s history, we are urging your support for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), a ground breaking peace law that many global leaders and heads of state are diligently working to have adopted by the UN General Assembly. It offers a legal framework for peaceful conflict resolution, the preservation of natural habitats, and the freedom of religion for all people. These causes align with American values and the hearts of American youth who truly desire a world without war and conflict. The DPCW protects what Americans deeply cherish, such as freedom and advancing peace around the world.

We believe that the work of peace is an inherent calling for every individual. As the acting President of the United States, your voice and support are a critical part of building a foundation of peace for future generations both here and abroad.

We sincerely hope that you will join our efforts by supporting the DPCW when it is introduced to the UN General Assembly. Many heads of state have already pledged their written support because they desire to end war and conflict. If we truly desire peace and love our country, how could we not support such a legislative solution to achieving peace together?

We request your reply and thank you for your service to our nation, Mr. President.

As a member of HWPL Supporters One, I also wrote a peace letter to the president of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), as did the members of HWPL in the US. It is wonderful and encouraging to see that the whole world wants to achieve world peace.

[HWPL] HWPL signs MOU with Bulacan Press Club for "Peace Journalism"

During the 30th World Peace Tour, Mr. Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and the peace advocates achieved great success in the Philippines. The Grand Peace Festival was held at the Philippine Sports Stadium on the 15th Feb 2019, and Bulacan Press Club signed an MOU with HWPL for Peace Journalism on the same day.

In 2018, HWPL launched the international media platform 'Peace Initiative' (https://peaceinitiative.net), which is a global network of journalists who contribute to world peace and conflict resolution through the press.

The MOU between HWPL and Bulacan Press Club enhances cooperation between the two groups through the sharing of peace news, peace-related articles and information.

It is amazing that HWPL has already made partnerships with 600 journalists from all over the world to foster the global journalist network through the Peace Initiative.

[HWPL] HWPL Brings the Mood of Peace to South-East Asia

HWPL's Chairman, Mr. Man Hee Lee, and the peace advocates' 30th World Peace Tour to Oceania and South-East Asia has been completed with successful results. The press in respective regions and countries have reported articles about the tour. Let's take a look at some of them :)

The only answer for world peace and cessation of war? DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War). One of the countries in Oceania signed its official support for the DPCW, which means that HWPL has secured the support of another country for the enactment of the DPCW at the U.N. The article said 'Solomon Islands has officially confirmed its support towards the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War document in an effort to promote world peace'. GOOD job Solomon Islands!

The Nation-Thailand Portal reported that more than 1000 VIPs including Asean members, religious leaders and leaders of NGOs participated in the event 'Peace Message for the Implementation of Peaceful Religions' hosted by HWPL.

According to the article, among 1000 VIPs, 450 participants were religious leaders from Buddhism, Islam and Christianity in Cambodia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, India and Singapore.

Religious leaders working together with and supporting HWPL and its DPCW urged participants to act and work for world peace with HWPL, and Mr. Man Hee Lee urged all participants to support the DPCW and to demand their leaders to sign it. Chairman Lee said :

"Through the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW, we now have the answer to achieve peace and end war. There isn't anyone who does not want peace."

As I read through news about HWPL's 30th World Peace Tour, I feel that we are stepping closer and closer to world peace as more people from around the world help and support HWPL and the DPCW.

Let's keep up the good work HWPL! Let's strive for world peace, peace supporters!

22nd February, Cambodia. HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee hosted an event for religious leaders in South-East Asia entitled 'Peace Message for the Implementation of Peaceful Religions'. HWPL is trying to reduce and remove global wars and conflicts through inter-faith dialogue because 80% of hostilities are caused by religious disagreement.

Therefore, Mr. Man Hee Lee and HWPL are spreading and encouraging religious leaders to participate in the WARP Office where leaders can discuss and understand each other's religion.

Leaders and believers of religions come to know each other and remove common misunderstandings through WARP Office scripture comparison discussions.

Mr. Man Hee Lee emphasized that, as religious people, murder and genocide are not the will of God, and neither is declaring war in the name of God. He also urged influential religious leaders to take the lead in peace campaigns because they can spiritually educate their believers to tolerate other religions. It is certain that believers of respective religions would listen to them.

Many Buddhists, Muslims, and Christians participated in the event to listen to speeches by prominent speakers about the cessation of war and declaration of peace.

Meanwhile, HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. The chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) - the host of the event - has been working for world peace since its foundation in 2013. It has two sub-groups, which are IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) which work with many people and NGOs around the world.

HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee completed their (27th, 28th and 29th) World Peace Tour 3 times last year with fantastic results.

Thursday, the 21st of February. VIPs and citizens from Cambodia and neighbouring countries eager to achieve world peace joined the 2019 South-East Asia Forum entitled 'Cooperation and Leap for Realization of Peace'. The event was hosted by HWPL, which is a global peace NGO under the U.N.

Politicians, diplomats, leading academics, professors, legal experts, leaders of NGOs and religious leaders all participated in the event to meet and listen to the peace group and its peace advocates. The leaders of HWPL, IWPG and IPYG - including Chairman Man Hee Lee - passionately urged participants through their speeches to raise awareness for world peace and war.

I'd like to share some quotes from a speech made by Mr. Man Hee Lee at the event that touched and inspired all participants.

"To live peacefully on this earth, everyone at this present time has to work together. Peace is not something just handed to you and you should not wait for it. You have to go after it yourself."

"Even though there is an answer to ending global conflicts, if you are not interested in it, then do you think you can call yourself a politician? What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for war to happen? It is nonsense that you do nothing even though there is an answer for peace. All leaders have to work it out if they really love their country and people. They must act now."

"We have to do politics for life, not for death."

To help participants work jointly for world peace, IPYG introduced its global 'Peace Letter' campaign. I'm sure that soon participants will  be writing letters to world leaders urging the recipient to support the DPCW for immediate enactment in the U.N.
