[HWPL] 2019 HWPL World Peace Summit "Legislate Peace" in Suva, Fiji

[HWPL]

[HWPL] 2019 HWPL World Peace Summit "Legislate Peace" in Suva, Fiji

Since the end of August, many cities around the world have been hosting the 2019 HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) World Peace Summit "Legislate Peace".

On September 7th, HWPL hosted its 2019 HWPL World Peace Summit "Legislate Peace" in Suva, Fiji with VIPs and citizens including the Minister for Fisheries, Assistant Minister for Ministry of Youth, Sports and Media, leaders from women and youth organizations and leaders from more than 15 religions.

Fijian press reported that participants discussed the achievement of peace in the South Pacific Islands and practical methods for achieving it.

HWPL and its Chairman, Man Hee Lee, have been focusing on ways to urge every head of state globally to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) - with its
10 articles and 38 clauses - which is the only answer for sustainable world peace; the reason being that in order to implement the DPCW at the UN General Assembly, it is compulsory to gain official support from every head of state.

Thus, HWPL has been carrying out its LP ("Legislate Peace") Campaign which consists of the Peace Letter and signatures in support of the DPCW.

So why don't you join the "Legislate Peace" campaign with us? Your letter and signature for world peace will definitely contribute towards world peace :)

Peace!

[HWPL] The Philippines Press Reports on May 25th Peace Walk

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The Philippines Press Reports on May 25th Peace Walk

Greetings, family of peace :)

Today I bring you good news reported by the Philippines press on May 25th. The Philippines is a close ally of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee Lee), as they continue to work together with HWPL on their world peace campaign. This precious relationship began when HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee put a permanent end to the destructive 40-year-long conflict between Catholics and Muslims on the island of Mindanao.

Mr. Man Hee Lee with leaders of Catholicism and Islam on the island of Mindanao, the Philippines.
HWPL's peace agreement on the island of Mindanao was followed by an MOU made with the Department of Education to benefit schools, universities, libraries and museums, as well as an MOU made with the Philippine press. Since then, the Philippines has participated in HWPL's peace campaign annually.

After the peace agreement, the island of Mindanao established 'HWPL Day' to commemorate the peace agreement and to thank HWPL.

It's no surprise, therefore, that the Philippines also joined in HWPL's peace walk this year, which the Philippines' press didn't miss reporting about :)

I think that the reports published by the Philippine press is evidence of the desire of people everywhere for world peace. I hope all people will gradually join HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee's peace campaign :) I will continue to bring you more articles by the world press about this peace campaign. World peace is no longer a dream :)

Peace!

[HWPL] The World in Conflicts and Violence, and HWPL's DPCW

[HWPL] The World in Conflicts and Violence, and HWPL's DPCW

Official Article of HWPL regarding Peace Letter :

Since the beginning of the world, humanity has not stopped engaging in conflict and war in our small planet. They have fought over territories, resources, honor, power, money, treasure, people, ideologies and religion.

Whatever the reason, violence and force has given birth to more wars and conflicts in history. Although some people may insist that technologies and skills used in war have contributed to the development of humanity, the truth is that humanity has suffered atrocities, cruelty and deaths of loved ones, one after the other.

I want to ask people who argue that war is necessary:

"Who is war for? Especially when it kills your loved ones and destroys their future?"

Europe has been the battlefield for many countries and leaders who wanted power and religious authority. Now it has become a place with conflicts and terrorism resulting from conflict between Muslim and Christian cultures.

People mourned for the victims of the Attack in Paris, 2015

How about South-East Asia? Religious war and conflicts have murdered numerous people since the 20th century in the so-called name of 'God', and border conflicts between many countries still continue.

Border conflicts between India, Pakistan and China

It's not very surprising to hear of gunfire accidents, homicides and massacres in the Americas (North, Middle and South) committed by citizens, gangs, cartels and rebels.

American soldiers in the Mexican Drug War

Revolutionary soldiers in Colombia

Meanwhile, Africans have been waging tribal wars against each other for power and territory. Still, sadly, tribal wars have not disappeared and it looks like they won't end until they get rid of everyone in the African continent.

Soldiers in Central Africa

Female soldiers in South Sudan

Finally, the Korean peninsula - the only divided country which was once a country - is divided by ideologies and foreign powers who wanted to paint the land with their own 'color'. The Korean War massacred countless Koreans and foreign soldiers have left an incurable scar on Korean history.

Demilitarized Zone in the middle of the Korean peninsula

North Korean and U.S.A soldiers in Joint Security Area of Panmunjeom of DMZ

Then, I want to ask why we have to confront and fight one another? What is this war and conflict for? I want to ask you again:

"Who is the war for? When it kills your loved ones and the future?"

"Who is war for? Especially when it kills your loved ones and destroys their future?"

Don't you dare think 'It is not my problem' and 'There is no such war or conflict in my region (e.g. Oceania)', because both small and large-scale conflicts always happen around us. These conflicts begin small before they gradually turn into huge ones. People fight because they don't know how to resolve them in a peaceful way. They didn't learn it in school because no one ever taught it systematically in world history. There has been no law for international conflicts and war (Yes, there were some declarations made by the U.N. to decrease war and conflicts but they are still here in our planet).

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light)
So, that is why Mr. Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) initiated the peace advocate and DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) concept. You may ask 'Who is he? And what is the DPCW?'

HWPL, along with its sub-organizations (IWPG: International Women's Peace Group, IPYG: International Peace Youth Group), all work together for world peace to protect humanity from war and extinction
Mr. Man Hee Lee, an 89-year-old Korean War veteran who had experienced the severity and cruelty of war, founded HWPL and its sub-groups for the purpose of making world peace. HWPL and its chairman Man Hee Lee have been successfully carrying out their ‘Legislate Peace’ campaign globally to enact the new international law DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War), which is the only answer for world peace.
DPCW is consisted of 10 articles and 38 clauses that made by prominent global international law experts and human rights activists with Mr. Man Hee Lee. DPCW's articles are very effective and practical, some of them are :

Article 1 - Prohibition of threat or use of force

Article 2- Reduce war potential and re-purpose weapons to benefit humanity

Article 6 - Settle international disputes through peaceful means

Article 9 - Promote peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups

Article 10 - Spread a culture of peace

Chairman Man Hee Lee, the peace advocates, political leaders, law experts, peace and human rights activists, leaders of NGOs and citizens who love world peace and eagerly desire world peace are all working hard and supporting the DPCW for enactment at the UN to be signed as a legally-binding international law.

To enact the DPCW across the world and to achieve world peace, we need the support and signatures from leaders of every world state. So Chairman Man Hee Lee has been hosting and meeting many people. Why? To spread and inform them about the DPCW. What is the result? So many countries and groups still want to sign MOUs with HWPL and some countries have already officially declared their support towards the DPCW.

The 2nd anniversary of DPCW peace conference

Now Chairman Man Hee Lee and DPCW will host 'the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War - Civil Society's Role for Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula' on the 14th March.

HWPL and its participants will give speeches about why we need the DPCW and its impact in the world, and how they can implement the DPCW through the UN with support from world leaders.

If you want world peace for the benefit of humanity, and want to contribute - even in a small way - Come! Watch the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War and become a peace advocate! You can be a global hero too!

[Peace News] Letter to President Moon and Chairperson Kim from a member of Supporters One

Dear President Moon and Chairperson Kim

Greetings, Mr. President and Mr. Chairperson of South and North Korea.

I'm a young man who lives in South Korea, working as a freelancer and actively running a blog about world peace and food as a member of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairperson: Man Hee Lee) Supporters One.

I was not the kind of person who was interested in diplomacy and security in the Korean peninsula or in world peace, but just someone interested in personal success, money and 'living happily ever after'. Now you might be wondering why this person is writing this letter to you.

A few years ago, I was a staff sergeant working within the regiment of an infantry division with the responsibility of defending the border between South and North Korea, which we call 'GOP (General Outpost)' and DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). I had to experience so many tragic incidents that happened in the army and the cruel reality of the Korean peninsula.

Military weapons and armaments, which are supposed to protect us and the people of Korea, killed my fellow soldiers both accidentally and deliberately. These weapons were often used by people, hostile to others, to get rid of people or groups that they hated in the army. Missiles and rockets were aimed to the North from the South, and also from the South to the North to kill people who were once brothers and sisters. Korea had been one country till the 1950s, more than 7000 years since its existence. I asked myself 'Why did Korea have to be divided by war? Why do so many young adults have to sacrifice their lives in the army? What is this for?' No weapon or military force was helping make world peace but rather causing continuous conflicts and victims around the world.

Many times in the army, I was often afraid imagining my fellow soldiers and I dying from gunshots or being annihilated by missiles or bombs, along with the grimace of our families and loved ones who would have been in deep pain and sorrow.

DMZ, South Korea

After I finished my duty in the army, I started my life as a freelancer but didn't stop thinking about the reunification of Korea and world peace. One day, I came across an active peace group which established a peace agreement that ceased the Catholic-Muslim civil war in Mindanao, Philippines. This organisation turned out to be HWPL (which I now work for as a supporter).

Soon after, I heard that HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee had proclaimed the DPCW - 'Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War' - to end wars, conflict and military acts around the world. It has been drafted by prevalent international global experts to achieve world peace, and consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses covering 'Demilitarization', 'Reduction and prohibition of weapons manufacturing', 'Conflict resolution' and 'Spreading of peace culture'.

Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War
HWPL has been striving to introduce and enact the DPCW at the UN as a legally-binding international law with agreement from world leaders. If the DPCW is enacted at the UN, it will put the following articles into effect:

Article 1 - Prohibition of threat or use of force

Article 2- Reduce war potential and re-purpose weapons to benefit humanity

Article 6 - Settle international disputes through peaceful means

Article 9 - Promote peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups

Article 10 - Spread a culture of peace

The DPCW will certainly guide humanity and global society towards stopping wars and violence, and resolve conflicts through peaceful means. It means no more men, women or youth will become victims of war and violence. What's more, wars will no longer ruin humanity and our world. Our children and future generations will learn how to maintain world peace through peaceful means. This must be the greatest legacy we can leave them.

Mr. Moon and Mr. Kim. As a proud citizen of Korea and a proud member of HWPL Supporters One, I strongly urge you to read the information about HWPL and the DPCW. No previous UN declaration or law has been able to cease wars and conflict, but Mr. Man Hee Lee and HWPL peace advocates proved that they can do it in Mindanao, Philippines. I have to tell you that HWPL's DPCW is the only answer that to resolving global wars and conflicts which no one else could settle.

The DPCW will soon be introduced to the UN and enacted as a legally-binding law within the global community. It needs your support and signature in order to be approved as new international law. I, again, strongly appeal to you, to sign it for world peace and for future generations, as other world leaders have done.

Any leader who doesn't sign the DPCW will not expose their desire for world peace, but for war, and our future descendants will remember their leader as someone who wanted war for personal gain.

I truly hope you make a wise decision for yourself, for us and for people all over the world :)

We can make our dream come true through the DPCW.

Thank you for reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Jerry Kim

[HWPL] HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee plan to visit Cambodia in Feb

[HWPL]

[HWPL] HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee plan to visit Cambodia in Feb

Original Article : http://khmeread.com/posts/37692

Today I bring you a short article from Cambodia for you. Cambodia is a country near Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in South-Eastern Asia, very famous for Angkor Wat :)

Angkor Wat

However, Cambodia also has a very tragic and cruel history with its 'Killing Fields' during the Communist Revolution by Democratic Campuchia that killed countless Cambodians in the 1970s.

Skulls of victims of 'Killing Field'

Read the sign at the left.... so sad and cruel... :(

I think that is why Cambodia supports HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of the Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) and Mr. Man Hee Lee, who has drafted the DPCW (Declaration of Peace, Cessation of War) as the only answer for world peace.

Mr. Man Hee Lee in the article
Such tragic history in the memory of Cambodians must have driven them to pursue world peace and a peaceful culture. KhmerRead reported that HWPL's peace messengers and Mr. Man Hee Lee will visit Cambodia this February to meet the country's head monk, educational experts and other dignitaries.

HWPL announced that Mr. Man Hee Lee and its peace messengers will deliver the message of peace to Cambodians through national broadcasting stations.

Cambodia is one of the countries which has signed an M.O.U. to receive HWPL's peace education, meaning the country thoroughly understands the significance of peace culture and education for their youth.

HWPL hopes to raise awareness of world peace in Cambodia so that they can also participate in the 'Legislate Peace Campaign' to help enact the DPCW at the UN in the near future.

Writer's comment : I think that Cambodians understand the importance of peace education and peace culture because of their painful history, like Koreans do. I hope HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee achieve a wonderful result for world peace :)

[HWPL] Why Peace Education? - Peace Education Protects the Dreams of Children

[HWPL]

[HWPL] Why Peace Education? - Peace Education Protects the Dreams of Children

On Universal Children's Day last year, HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee Lee) official homepage posted an article about why we need peace education for children.

www.hwpl.kr
According to the following 'shocking' statistics by UNICEF, it clearly shows why.

Even nowadays, children are facing war, conflict, abuse, violence, forced labor, early marriage and poverty which all make children to go through pain and death without living the life they want. No bright future for children means no bright future for mankind. Children are pushed to workplace and battlefield with tools and guns instead of school with pencils and books. They have the rights to enjoy to be loved, cared, nurtured, educated, helped to achieve goals and live the life they want to. They should be at home with loving families and school with friends.

We have to teach children the spirit of human rights, freedom, tolerance and peace through education. In the world, now, we need respect, understanding, love and kindness instead of war, conflicts and violence. Pursuing right values for the world will change the world eventually.

Children in Africa are learning peace through DPCW (Declaration of peace and cessation of war) that are provided by HWPL and IPYG
Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) have been shouting for global peace campaign and movements including peace education for students of elementary school, middle school and university (college). Mr. Man Hee Lee has been stressing "Let children learn peace, not war. They will become messengers of peace in the future who will achieve the world peace."

IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) has been stressing on 'Young people have to protect themselves from the war and death by achieving world peace. Who will compensate for the time and lives of young people?' Peace education will unite the youth and let them move forward to a brighter future with world peace. HWPL and Mr. Man Hee Lee intend to pass on a peaceful world to children through peace education. Peace education is now more than necessary for the protection of children and young people from death. It will surely keep their lives safe.

Writer's comment: Dear Youths, my brothers and sisters! let's be united in world peace, let's protect ourselves from war! Join this great peace movement, only 'WE' can help us.
