[HWPL] Peace Tours of Man-Hee Lee (32): Former Presidents and Supreme Court Justices Gather at the 'World Judiciary Summit' & Unite for the Will of Chairman Lee


On December 12, 2014, around 200 attendees at the '15th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World: World Judiciary Summit 2014', including Chairman Lee, are taking a commemorative photo. The message of peace promulgated by Chairman Lee of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) was delivered at the '15th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World: World Judiciary Summit 2014' attended by about 200 dignitaries from around the world, including former presidents, ministers, UN figures, Supreme Court justices, and judges.

During the 16th peace tour of Chairman Lee, who visited the United States and India from December 3 to 15, 2014, numerous figures including former presidents, ministers, Supreme Court justices and judges pledged to work together towards world peace.

In particular, the ‘15th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World: World Judiciary Summit 2014’ was held in India, and Chairman Lee, who was formally invited to the conference as a speaker, delivered a powerful message on peace and united the hearts of the audience.

After his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in India on December 10, 2014, Chairman Lee was welcomed by a large crowd upon exiting the VIP departure and, in an instant, was surrounded by the delegation placing flowers and ornaments around his neck to the extent that there was little room to walk. Given the long anticipated wait to meet Chairman Lee, the crowd's warm welcome persisted.

On December 12, 2014, Chairman Lee travelled to Lucknow, India to attend the ‘15th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World: World Judiciary Summit 2014’. Former presidents and Supreme Court justices who had attended the WARP Summit prior, including the former President of Croatia Stjepan Mesić and the former President of Romania Emil Constantinescu, also arrived in Lucknow one after the other.

About 200 dignitaries from all over the world attended the World Judiciary Summit held for one week from December 10, 2014. The organizers of the Summit are the Gandhi couple, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr. Bharti Gandhi, who founded City Montessori School (CMS) in India.

City Montessori School (CMS) was founded in 1959 by the Gandhi couple and is the world's largest school with over 50,000 students. In addition, in 2002, CMS was awarded the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education, and in 2012, it was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “largest school in the world.”

The Gandhi couple sought to create a peaceful world for students, and to this end, the 'International Conference of Chief Justices of the World' (World Judiciary Summit) has been held yearly at CMS. The Gandhi couple formally invited Chairman Lee to this conference, which marked its 15th anniversary, with the goal of enacting an international law with practical steps for implementation by the international community.

Jagdish Gandhi, founder-manager of CMS, shook Chairman Lee's hand and said, "It's such an honor to meet you. Bharti Gandhi, founder-director of CMS, was a participant in the WARP Summit held prior in South Korea. She said that since attending the WARP Summit, she had been daily informing family and neighbors on how impactful and moving it was.

Prior to attending the World Judiciary Summit, Chairman Lee boarded a vehicle prepared by the Indian government and headed to CMS, where the Summit was held.

At the entrance to the venue, the children formed a long line on both sides holding the flags of every nation, and gave an enthusiastic welcome to participants, including Chairman Lee. Moreover, at a designated spot on the school grounds, a commemorative photo was taken with former presidents and Supreme Court justices from around the world who gathered for peace.

Chairman Lee stood in the center at the front of the podium with Bharti Gandhi. The scene was reminiscent of the opening ceremony on the first day of the WARP Summit held in South Korea. Bharti Gandhi had sealed her impressions of the WARP Summit onto her heart, reproduced them in her own country and spread them far and wide.

Jagdish Gandhi, who said he had heard about the WARP Summit every day from his wife, told Chairman Lee, “My wife completely changed after visiting Korea. It's a great honor to be here with such a wonderful man who has done so much for peace.”

The Gandhi couple also presented Chairman Lee with a certificate of recognition in honor of his contribution to peace. In addition, a large banner with a biography of Chairman Lee was placed at the entrance of the venue. The Gandhi couple had already been passionately playing the role of publicity ambassadors for Chairman Lee. In response, Chairman Lee commissioned the Gandhi couple as HWPL Publicity Ambassadors.

The next day, on December 13, 2014, the ‘India Peace Walk’ was held with 200 World Judiciary Summit attendees and 2,000 CMS students. The Gandhi couple guided Chairman Lee to the head of the procession. People with a united heart longing for peace filled the streets in an orderly line.

Former presidents, ministers, UN figures, Supreme Court justices, and judges from around the world, as well as CMS students attended the World Judiciary Summit. Chairman Lee stood on the podium as a keynote speaker and said: “Light is needed in dark places, food is needed where there is hunger, and love and peace are needed in places of tribulation, pain and conflict. We must create a world overflowing with life, love and peace so that a world without war can be left as a legacy for future generations.”

At a meeting on December 14, the most pressing issues of the international community were discussed. Attendees also listened to another speech on the answer to peace by Chairman Lee.

Former presidents, Supreme Court justices, and judges all signed an agreement for the enactment of international peace law, supporting Chairman Lee's will. Key figures were appointed as HWPL advisors and publicity ambassadors and pledged to actively work for peace.

On December 11, 2014, Chairman Lee received an official invitation from the Sikh community and visited the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Temple in Delhi.

Manjit Singh GK, President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, gave Chairman Lee a guided personal tour of the temple. Manjit Singh also arranged a meeting with Kanwaljit Kaur, Dean of Guru Kashi University, who arranged Chairman Lee's next schedule.

On the same day, the Honor Guard and Military Band Welcome Delegation comprised  of students greeted Chairman Lee, who was visiting Mata Sundri College for Women (University of Delhi).

About 200 people, including leaders of 11 religions and students from various organizations, arrived at the venue after being guided by the honor guard. The theme of the event was “The Great Unity of Religions: Dialogue of Scriptures on Peace”.

The attendees agreed that religions must unite to achieve peace and they pledged to work with Chairman Lee. Chairman Lee appointed representatives of each religion as HWPL advisors and publicity ambassadors. People's reactions were so enthusiastic that Chairman Lee was unable to move from his seat when the event ended due to the barrage of requests for a handshake.

  1. This is truly beautiful work. I sincerely hope that the DPCW will be enacted as international law by the United Nations as soon as possible in 2023. Kudos to Chairman Lee of HWPL and all HWPL supporters. In the words of Viktor Yushchenko, former President of Ukraine, “The DPCW is a perfect and balanced document that can be the basis of solidarity for peacekeeping in all countries of the world. I think all the leaders of the countries should support the DPCW."
