HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman Man Hee Lee) and Chairman Man Hee Lee have been carrying out Peace Education as part of the Legislate Peace Project that urges people throughout the world to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) for sustainable peace.

Chairman Man Hee Lee and HWPL's peace work has also been carried out throughout the Korean peninsula. HWPL's Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch hosted a Special Lecture on world peace with Daesung Passion Academy at Suseong District in Daegu on December 26th under the title 'The Most Precious Peace Story in the World' with 50 local citizens.

Lecturer Mr. Daesung Lee introduced the DPCW's 10 Articles and 38 Clauses drafted by HWPL's Chairman Man Hee Lee and its Peace Law Committee, and he talked about the necessity of peace education to spread a culture of peace. Mr.Lee emphasized 'Acquiring world peace through communities over individuals'. The lecture ended with a discussion on methods for raising awareness of peace.

HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee have been carrying out peace campaigns, including Peace Education, since HWPL's Peace School MOU in 2015. HWPL and Chairman Man Hee Lee signed MOUs with 214 schools (and universities) in 26 countries, and also signed an MOU with the Education Ministries in Sri Lanka, Colombia, Iraq, Philippines and more.

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light; Chairman Man Hee Lee) Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch hosted 'The 1st Daegu Gyeongbuk Peace Seminar: Peace and I' at Ahnam Hall Hanyoung Art Center in Daegu on November 23rd for the continual and concrete work of peace in local society.

The event was co-hosted by HWPL's Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch and KBB (Korea Buddhism Broadcasting), and supported by other NGOs. 200 experts from academia, religion and youth organizations participated in the event.

Participants discussed measures for spreading a culture of peace in the region and emphasized the necessity of peace between religions, peaceful unification and an international law for world peace.

HWPL has been carrying out a variety of peace events in legal, educational, civil and social fields for the achievement of sustainable peace since its founding in 2014.

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee Lee) published an official article about the May 25th Peace Walk Event. Its homepage reported that "the 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and Peace Walk" was held under the theme "The World's Call for Peace, Urging Support for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW)" in 126 cities in 77 countries including Australia, China, Germany, India, Russia, South Africa, the Philippines, and the United States of America.

In Seoul, South Korea, the event was hosted at the Olympic Park with more than 20,000 citizens participating in the "Peace Letter Campaign" to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) with its 10 articles and 38 clauses, urging world leaders to enact the DPCW as legally binding international law.
