[HWPL] HWPL Peace Tours of Man-hee Lee (7-2): “Presidents in each country must sign to end wars and establish world peace”

On December 3, 2012, Chairman Lee visited Ethiopia and met President Girma Wolde-Giorgis at the National Palace (formerly known as 'Jubilee Palace') in Addis Ababa

The 3rd Peace Tour of Chairman Man-hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus took place on the African continent. During his African tour, Chairman Lee met with the President of Ethiopia and the President of South Africa.

The meeting with the two leaders was important in that it highlighted the purpose of the 'WARP Summit', facilitated dialogue regarding the importance of Korean reunification, world peace, and included a pledge by the leaders for their support and cooperation.

Chairman Lee's first stop in Africa was Ethiopia, a multi-ethnic country (numbering around 90 ethnic groups) on the African continent. Ethiopia was allied with Korea as a member of the UN forces during the Korean War. On December 3, 2012 (local time), Chairman Lee met with President Girma Wolde-Giorgis at the National Palace (formerly known as 'Jubilee Palace') in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

President Wolde-Giorgis praised the spirit of service of the volunteer group 'Man-nam', which serves humanity like the light, rain and air of the skies. The president was moved by Chairman Lee's vision of world peace, which seeks to break down the barriers of border, race and religion to liberate and make humanity one family of peace, and expressed his intention to participate.

Chairman Lee expressed his gratitude, saying, "The president also said that he would work hard for the reunification of the Koreas". In response, President Wolde-Giorgis said, "I actively support Chairman Lee's peace movement and the reunification of the two Koreas."

Chairman Lee's next destination was South Africa. On the 14th, Chairman Lee met with President Jacob Zuma at Libertas, the official residence of the president, in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. The President of South Africa also expressed support for Chairman Lee's steps towards world peace.

Peace!!
