HWPL Chairman Man-hee Lee and the peace advocates held a WARP Summit in Seoul, South Korea, in September 2014, attended by 200,000 people, with people they met during the peace tour. Since then, Chairman Man-hee Lee's peaceful actions have gained more momentum. The photo shows participants holding hands and singing a song after signing the agreement at the World Peace Convention Ceremony held at the United Nations Headquarters on December 4th, 2014. This was recorded as a rare sight at the solemn United Nations Headquarters.

On December 5th, 2014, at the Los Angeles County High Court, Chief Justice David Wesley guided Chairman Man-hee Lee to a judge's seat and handed him a gavel, hoping him to become a judge of the Supreme Court of Heaven.

After the WARP Summit held in Korea on September 18th, 2014, the peace tour of Chairman Man-hee Lee of Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) and the peace advocates blossomed even more spectacularly. The world, who had been skeptical about the achievement of world peace, experienced the reality that it could become one, transcending race, country, and religion, at the WARP Summit, and those who have truly longed for world peace joined hands with HWPL.

In particular, from the 16th to the 20th, peace monuments were erected around the world, and the signing ceremony for peace was more active. Some places have designated HWPL Day to commemorate the day of peace.

On December 6th, 2014, while on a tour of the United States, Chairman Lee received a declaration from Carlson, California, USA that they would designate May 25th every year as HWPL DAY. This is to commemorate the day when the Declaration of World Peace and Liberation was first published. The news was reported on ABC News, an American broadcaster.

Chairman Lee also met with Chief Judge David S.Wesley and appealed to him to participate in the enactment of international law for world peace.

At the American Peace Conference held at the Carson Community Center in Los Angeles on December 6th, 2014, Los Angeles Mayor Jim Deere established and announced May 25th as HWPL DAY and conferred honorary citizenship and citations to Chairman Man-hee Lee.

Chairman Lee made a keynote speech at the World Peace Convention Ceremony held at the United Nations Headquarters on December 4th. At the meeting, the draft international law for the cessation of war and ways to resolve religious conflicts in conflict zones in Africa were discussed in depth.

Chairman Lee said, “The global village is chaotic and unstable, and the country is in the midst of a conflict that divides the country and the ideology. This is because there is no provision of international law to end war and achieve peace in the global village,” he said.

He also urged that "a judge and a former president become one and enact an international law as soon as possible, and if the incumbent president wants world peace and loves the country and people, he/she must sign it."

Hon. Justice Prof. Abdul Salam Azmi, Chief Judge of the Supreme Court of Afghanistan, said, “At this meeting, President Lee's proposal was a practical solution for world peace. Chairman Lee is a person like Gandhi in Korea.”

17th Peace Tour

The results of the 17th peace tour to South Africa can be summarized in two major parts.

The first is the ‘WARP Summit in Africa’. The event was held from March 30th-31st, 2015 at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Pretoria, South Africa. The University of South Africa, where the event was held, is also the birthplace of Nobel Peace Prize winners such as Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Frederic Willem de Klerk. Prior to this, a festival of peace was held in the Royal Bapokeng Kingdom on March 28th. This country's motto is 'Let there be peace'. At the festival, May 25th is designated as ‘HWPL Day’ every year, and they pledged to hold a peace commemorative event. The unveiling ceremony of the Peace Monument to commemorate the peace achievements of HWPL was also held.

Chairman Lee and Queen Molotreggi of Senema rejoiced as they removed the veil of the monument during the unveiling ceremony of the Bapokeng World Peace Declaration Monument by the Kingdom of Bapokeng in South Africa on March 28th, 2015.

Both of these events drew attention in that they were voluntarily prepared by South African leaders who attended the ‘WARP Summit’ held in Seoul hosted by HWPL in September 2014 to inform their citizens of the purpose and appeal to their participation.

At a press conference on his return home, Chairman Lee Man-hee said, "I was able to confirm the aspiration for peace that former President Mandela had instilled in the people. Not only South Africa but many countries begin to show movements for peace after last WARP Summit" .

Participants at the African Peace Conference at the University of South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa, signed the agreement on March 30th, 2015.
