[IPYG] IPYG Goes Sikh -IPYG Members' Experience of Sikhism-

[IPYG]

[IPYG] IPYG Goes Sikh -IPYG Members' Experience of Sikhism-

Today we live in a world of religious diversity and freedom alongside countless religious conflicts. As much as tolerance towards religions has grown, so has hostility. According to statistics, it is an undeniable fact that 80% of conflicts and wars are caused by religious conflicts, which means that the achievement of peace between religions is critical for world peace.

Meanwhile, on Oct 26th 2019, IPYG - International Peace Youth Group; a youth Peace NGO under 'Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light' (HWPL; Chairman Man Hee Lee) - hosted their 'Religious Experience Camp' at the Sikh Temple in Pocheon, Gyeonggi province, Republic of Korea (South Korea) to raise awareness of the need for peace among religions to religious people and civil society.

IPYG has been carrying out its global "Legislate Peace" campaign since 2013, together with HWPL and IWPG (International Women's Peace Group), to urge global heads of state to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War. This international law consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses to achieve world peace and was proclaimed in 2016 by HWPL to spread a culture of peace.

IPYG members visited the Sikh temple and were educated on courtesy, service, table manners etc. This began with wearing a bandanna, taking off socks and washing one's hands. Then they learned Sikh greetings, served, cooked chapati and curry, and watched a traditional Sikh martial arts performance.

IPYG also hosted its WARP Office Interfaith Dialogue on discussion of the theme 'Is Religious Peace compulsory for world peace?' A panels of Christian and Sikh speakers all answered 'Yes'. The Sikh panel said "In Sikhism, we teach that people have to live like brothers and sisters of same parents. If we keep follow the way of HWPL's campaign then the world peace will definitely come true."

All participants appreciated the welcome and kindness of Sikh members, and wished for world peace to be achieved in the near future.

As a member of HWPL Supporters ONE, I think that more and more religious experience camps should be hosted in order to understand and tolerate another's religions and prevent conflict and war in the world. People need to talk, discuss and understand one another; not shoot, bomb or kill one another because of religion.

I'm so sure that HWPL, IWPG and IPYG's "Legislate Peace" Project will eventually make world peace :)

Peace!

[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

[HWPL]

[HWPL] No Religious Conflicts Please. Let's Have a Talk, Believers.

On April 21st, 8 bomb terror incidents happened at Catholic and Protestant churches celebrating Easter service in Sri Lanka. No group has yet come forward as the perpetrator behind the terror attack. It is not easy to know who masterminded it because Sri Lanka has a tragic history of racial conflict that ended in 2009, as well as religious tension among Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus. However, those three religions are hostile to Christianity because Sri Lanka was once colonized by Portugal, Netherlands and the United Kingdom which have a Christian background. So now it is very uncertain who carried out this terror attack against churches.

Given that there are so many religious conflicts, it is obvious that religious leaders need to talk to each other to resolve such conflicts and make world peace.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) has been carrying out global initiatives for world peace since 2014. The WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Office meeting is one of them. It hosts open forums and discussions for religious leaders and the audience to discuss and talk so that different religions can understand each other and resolve their misconceptions.

Throughout the WARP Office meetings and interfaith dialogue, panels and participants search for a common goal and truth among religions which can eventually guide them to world peace and religious harmony. Now there are 250 offices in 128 countries today.

At the meeting, each panel receives three questions from the main topic plus one or two additional questions from the other panel or audience regarding the topic. There are some rules to prevent 'chaotic' discussion such as panels having to answer questions according to their scripture and must listen to the mediator from HWPL's WARP Office.

Currently, leaders of the Christiani, Buddhist, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Zoroastrian faiths - to name a few - have all participated in person at the WARP Office's global branches, and an Intercontinental Online WARP Office meeting has recently been set up via YouTube Live.

It is very appealing and fascinating that an audience can listen to what is written in each religious scripture in a good and polite setting without conflict or quarrelling.

[Peace News] Mr. Man Hee Lee's DPCW and Conflicts in the World

[Peace News]

[Peace News] Mr. Man Hee Lee's DPCW and Conflicts in the World

Everyone wants to live a happy and peaceful life; no one wants to be damaged or suffer pain from conflict or war. However, people have been in a struggle to gain power and what they desire through violence, terrorism and military force because they don't know how to solve problems and conflicts in a peaceful way.

Recently, Amass Ghana (Conflict resolution and peace-building NGO in Ghana) called for the cooperation of international NGOs to resolve ethnic conflicts in Northern Ghana.

Ghana

Amass Ghana calls for international concern on conflicts in Northern Ghana / Amass Ghana / 15.1.2019 / GhanaWeb

Amass Ghana stated that there are 3 or 4 tribal conflicts in Northern Ghana over tribal power and territory, leading the country to societal, public and economic damages and unstable national security. Amass Ghana quoted :

"World Justice Project (WJP), Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), Niwano Peace Foundation (NPF) among other peace building bodies would need to stretch an arm in helping Ghana nip in the bud the conflict situation in northern part of the country."

It is not only Ghana that is suffering from conflict over ethnicity, tribe, religion, race etc. Many countries in Africa, Middle East and Asia also have similar problems that need support and help from international NGOs.

Southern Sudan. Severe tribal conflicts have been on-going and are still resolved.

Rohingya tribe: victims of religious conflicts between Buddhism and Islam in Myanmar

Humanity has been facing a long and ongoing conflict since the beginning of history - discrimination of race, nationality, social status, wealth, ethnicity, tribe, sex, religion etc. People have been fighting and killing each other because of these reasons, and one man from the Republic of Korea has suddenly burst into the world.

Prominent peace activist, chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) started his work for the global society and proposed the DPCW (Declaration of Peace, Cessation of War), which says "No" to global conflicts and wars by any means.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL

Chairman Lee and his HWPL Law Peace Committee proposed a new international law that can stop all wars and conflicts in our world, and have been working to introduce and enact it at the UN as a global, legally-binding law. HWPL and Chairman Lee once resolved the 40-year religious conflict between Catholicism and Islam in Mindanao, Philippines in 2014.

HWPL's DPCW consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses, and one of them is article 9 'Promote peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups'

This image explains Article 9 of the DPCW simply :)
To resolve any conflicts and wars caused by religion, ethnicity and race, as is happening in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, the DPCW must be supported by leaders of every nation and enacted by the U.N.

The DPCW's 10 articles 38 clauses suggests every method to effectively stop global conflicts and wars, soothing victims' pain and freeing them from a tragic situation.

Therefore, HWPL has been implementing its 'Legislate Peace Campaign' to encourage people to support the DPCW and to urge leaders of every state to ratify the DPCW as a legally binding international law at the UN.

How about you? Why don't you get involved in HWPL and DPCW? Together we can end all conflicts and wars in the world.

[HWPL] The Last Peace Office Meeting of 2018! -Basic Knowledge of Religions and Rituals-

On 28th Dec 2018, Daejun-Choongchung branch of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) hosted a Peace Office Meeting for Comparative Scriptural Discussion helping religions understand each other for the achievement of world peace.

HWPL Daejun-Choongchung branch invited leaders of Buddhist, Muslim and Christian faiths to compare and understand the doctrines of the other's religion :) The leaders of respective religion talked and discussed about 'Basic knowledge of a religion. Who created it? When and who recorded the book?' and 'Rituals and ceremonies of a religion. Service, prayer etc.'.

The head manager from the headquarters of the Yeoraejong of Korean Buddhism said "Buddha left home to deliver answers to the four phases of life and peace, and to prevent war. Buddha didn't deny God, but he didn't believe in him either. Only the truth can be believed."

Imam of Islam said "Islam had begun from the prophet Muhammad and we worship God according to the will of God and the Quran. Nothing is recorded in the Quran justifying wars and killings in the name of God. Extremists and terrorists who murder and cause conflict are neither Muslims nor believers." He added "If you want to know about Islam, please read the Quran not the press."

Pastor Won, the member of the Bible study committee of HWPL, emphasized "To remove enmity from Christianity, we have to have dialogue after perceiving the knowledge of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Shincheonji church of Jesus has been testifying the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Bible to show that the Bible is a reliable scripture."

A member of IPYG (International Peace Youth Group, under HWPL) said "It is time to understand Buddhism and Islam. It is very significant that different religions can come together at an event like this. I am very touched that HWPL is working for the harmony of religions beyond religious ideology and without monetary support from the government."

Writer's comment : The Peace Office of HWPL is doing very good job. We have to keep on carrying out more discussions and meetings in 2019.

[HWPL] The Peace Office Meeting! - 'Relationship between Religion and Peace'

[HWPL]

[HWPL] The Peace Office Meeting! - 'Relationship between Religion and Peace'

Greetings! Family of Peace :)

Today, I have brought short news for the world peace.

On 15th December 2018, the western Seoul-Gyeonggi branch of WARP (World Alliance of Religions' and Peace) Office of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) hosted a Bible Comparison Discussion.

The topic that day was 'Relationship between Religion and Peace', and the main questions were 'How is peace defined within your respective religions?' and 'Why is peace so significant?'.

Mr. Heungsub Lee of the Confucius Institute, Mr. Changgi Baek of Chun Bikyeong-Koressance, Prof. Jaebum Ahn (Theologist), other VIPs from various professions and 50 citizens participated in discussion to understand one another’s religion.

Original Article (http://m.koreasisailbo.com/5058), 18-12-2018 / Reporter: Jungmi Baek, Sisa Daily

Mr. Lee, who spoke on the Confucius panel, said that "Moderation (Middle path) is about being neither too open about one's emotion nor too controlled so that one remains in the middle."

Mr. Baek of the Chunbukyeong-Koressance said "Confucianism, Buddhism and Christianity started differently but the destination is the same. When we believe in religion with just a string of hope will become one some day and world peace will come true."

Theology Prof. Jaebum Ahn said "God is the main body of peace and Jesus came to the world as the messenger of peace 2000 years ago (Luke 19:38). Now the world is in constant suffering and war but the book of Revelation explains the concrete process to creating world peace. Eventually, all of God's creation will return to its original form and to a world of peace with God, as HE promises."

Original Article (http://m.koreasisailbo.com/5058), 18-12-2018 / Reporter: Jungmi Baek, Sisa Daily
Ms. Miyoung Gwon, who participated in discussion in the audience, said "I have been seeing the conflicts and disputes among religious people via the press, but it is amazing to see religious leaders trying to begin a new era through learning and open dialogue, and not insisting on one's own opinions. I think that this is a is very meaningful meeting and discussion."

Writer's comment : The reporter for this article introduced HWPL as running 250 branch offices in 127 countries to make world peace since the 2014 WARP summit :) As an HWPL supporter, I'm always happy to hear news of events about HWPL and its WARP Office. I hope the discussion delivers a message of world peace through the alliance of religions :)

[HWPL] HWPL's WARP Office, The Way To Peace And Harmony.

[HWPL]

[HWPL] HWPL's WARP Office, The Way To Peace And Harmony.

Greetings, Family of Peace! :)

I think I have been talking way too heavy stuff for a while, so I've brought you bright and happy news about HWPL today. If you have visited my blog a few times, you might have read articles about HWPL and its main initiatives regarding the DPCW and its peace campaign. One of HWPL's main initiatives is WARP Office. WARP (World Alliance of Religions and Peace) Office is purposed to achieve world peace through discussion between many world religions seeking the truth from each of their respective scriptures.

This event has been held for many  years and more religions and denominations have been participating. This year, HWPL and WARP Office reported 20 WARP Office discussions in Korea and throughout the world - online discussions included.

WARP Office in Seoul on 30th October 2018.
This year in particular, various Christian denominations have participated in discussions including the Presbyterian church, Seventh Day Adventists, Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, an interdenominational denomination, the Unification Church, Baptist church, Methodist church, Full Gospel Church etc.

At the last WARP Office event, the topic of discussion was 'The end of the world, Matthew chapter 24'. The main themes of discussion were 'What is the role of religious leaders for the peaceful reunification of Korea?' and 'What is the meaning of 'war' in Matthew chapter 24?'.

All panels who participated in the event agreed that all religions have to become one and unified in order to prevent war in the Korean peninsula.

Mrs. Sunja Kim from the Korean Peace Foundation said, "Peace doesn't belong to any nation, corporation or organization, but to everyone. It is a special gift from the heavens. Let's remove all weapons, armaments and nuclear bombs and pass down a peaceful world to the future generation."

Pastor Hong from the Pentecostal Church said, "The leaders of North and South Korea are cooperating to go on a path others haven't dared to go. Religious leaders have to pray for a successful result."

Pastor Lee from the Presbyterian Church emphasized, "Religious leaders are those responsible for their communities, so they must have a correct historical and future understanding. Religious leaders have to suggest the way to peace and must pray for North Korea to improve."

Lecturer Goh from Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji church of Jesus, Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee, Lee) added that "80% of the world's wars are religiously-rooted, so the basis for stopping them is the reunification of religion." Moreover, he advised :

1. Understanding the Bible correctly

2. Choosing the correct interpretation of the Bible through discussion

3. Pastors should receive peace education

4. Signing in support of peace organizations that do real peace work

Following the discussion about peace and the reunification of the Korean peninsula, the panels announced their opinion on the topic and shared their thoughts. The reactions from participatory pastors on the panel were very positive.

Pastors said that "Our purpose is not to obstruct, but to talk to one another", "I hope there will be more peace discussion events like this" and "Shincheonji church of Jesus teaches the correct Biblical knowledge. I don't think it is right to criticize them without knowing what they teach. This kind of opportunity for discussion is very important."

Some people who participated in the audience said, "It would be good if panels can debate more. I want to come again if there is another opportunity" and "the panel from Shincheonji church of Jesus talked very well while other panels talked outside the topic. I would like to join the next event on a panel.".

The director of HWPL WARP Office, Mr. Ik-hyeon, Lim, said "This place is where various religious people can gather to talk to one another. Christians in particular can find the true meaning of God through inter-denomination discussion. However, it is so frustrating when some organizations like CCK (Christian Council of Korea) heavily slander and spread negative rumors about the event so that panels are unable to reveal their identity. In spite of this fact, many pastors are participating on panels with a strong sense of duty. I really hope people can communicate and exchange their knowledge through the WARP Office."

What do you think about the WARP Office and panels? :) I think this is a very effective and peaceful way of achieving peace, gaining understanding of another's topics. I wonder whether there would be any religious conflict or war between nations and religions if all religions talked with one another with good and fair hosts. What do you think? I think I'll join a WARP Office if there are any near me :)

[HWPL] 918 World Peace WARP Summit : The 17th's Conferences - HWPL Intercontinental WARP Office Meeting

[HWPL]

[HWPL] 918 World Peace WARP Summit : The 17th's Conferences - HWPL Intercontinental WARP Office Meeting

Greetings! Family members of peace :) The 918 World Peace WARP Summit has already begun since participants' landed at Incheon Airport. Today - 17th September - there are two events that we can watch live. Please refer to the below :)

There are the HWPL Intercontinental WARP Office Meeting and 2018 Conference for the Implementation of the DPCW.

Today's 1st event - the WARP Office Meeting - is a meeting of religious world leaders comparing religious scriptures on one topic. Today's topic is:

The WARP Office Meeting's main goal is to resolve conflict between religions, which itself causes 80% of all world conflicts. Therefore, religious leaders will discuss and share what their scriptures say about the topic and questions asked in the meeting. Through this meeting, there can be greater understanding between religions in the hope of a cessation of war and peace between religions and its believers.

Today's HWPL Intercontinental WARP Office Meeting is directly related to some of the articles in the DPCW (The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War), which is HWPL's main initiative due to be introduced to the UN for enactment as a legally-binding law.

I think it is very important to spread and to promote the WARP Office Meeting to religious and civil societies throughout the world to create a culture that searches for the truth. We have to let more and more people know about the WARP Office so that more religious leaders can join the meeting to resolve conflicts between religions throughout the world. When every religion and its believers understand each other, I'm certain that this 80% cause of world conflicts will disappear :)

The meeting's first question is:

Don't you want to know what each religion answered for this question? Moreover, there are more questions and engaging discussions between religious leaders and its believers. Come and join if you are a true believer and someone who hopes for peace :)
