[HWPL] HWPL Peace Tours of Man-hee Lee (10): 50+ media outlets report in the Philippines and Thailand, “Chairman Lee's message is the answer to world peace”

Chairman Man-hee Lee is being interviewed live on Philippine state broadcaster PTV News on June 13, 2013 during the 5th Peace Tour

Chairman Man-hee Lee visited the Philippines and Thailand in Southeast Asia during the 5th peace tour from June 12-21, 2013. The 5th tour was the first since the proclamation of the 'Declaration of World Peace and Restoration of Light' and the 'International Peace Youth Group Peace Walk' held at the World Peace Gate in Olympic Park, Seoul, where 30,000 youth from 130 countries gathered.

About 50 media outlets, including Philippine and Thai state broadcasters, radio stations and newspapers, reported on the activities of Chairman Lee and the peace delegation, who appealed for participation in the 'Youth Peace Movement' and the 'Movement for the Cessation of War', and introduced their vision for world peace in detail.

In particular, Chairman Lee was inundated with questions about his motivation for launching a global peace movement and his activities. With serious intent, they asked questions of Chairman Lee's views on the reunification of South and North Korea.

Interviews with radio stations and TV reporters continued from the first day to the last in the Philippines. DZUP (1602 AM) Radio broadcast a live interview which, by exception, was extended by 30 minutes upon an on air request made by listeners.

Chairman Lee also appeared live on the Philippine state broadcaster PTV News, where he introduced the purpose and activities for world peace in detail. As a result, major media outlets in the Philippines daily reported, with intent, Chairman Lee's progress toward world peace.

In addition, on the radio broadcaster TV5, Chairman Lee was asked about his steps as a peace activist and his meetings with the presidents he had met. At a subsequent meeting with Filipino reporters, Chairman Lee received a barrage of questions.

A news reporter at the meeting said, “I am aware of the peace activities that have been done so far. Welcome to the Philippines.” He asked, “What kind of confidence do you have about the reunification of the Korean Peninsula?”

To this, Chairman Lee answered confidently, “It is not that North Korea does not want the peace that everyone desires. When our peace movement finishes travelling the globe and ends in North Korea, then the reunification of the Koreas will come true."

A reporter from a university newspaper asked, “How can peace in the Philippines be achieved?” Chairman Lee replied that if world peace is achieved, then the Philippines will naturally find peace. Chairman Lee explained that the issue of peace is not a problem for one country alone, but for the entire global village.

About 30 major local media outlets, including radio and press, attended the press conference held on the 13th of June and poured out a barrage of questions, making the visit a hot topic.

In particular, GNN requested an exclusive interview with Chairman Lee. GNN reporters asked why he had launched the peace movement and how the Filipino people and the media could participate in Chairman Lee's peace activities.

First, Chairman Lee asked the representatives of Philippine youth groups to participate in the peace activities of International Peace Youth Group (IPYG). He continued, “I ask that the media frequently show and report videos containing the content of world peace and restoration of light to the public so that it can reach the hearts of all people and make a difference.”

On the third day of the peace tour, Chairman Lee appeared on Radyo Natin Network, a Philippine radio station. Interviews were conducted on world peace and restoration of light, the role of youth groups, and the cessation of war. Following the interview, a request was received for an encore and additional interviews were conducted.

After the Philippines, interviews with local media were also held in Thailand. On June 18, 2013, Bro Witt, chief reporter of 'The Nation Newspaper', interviewed Chairman Lee, and said, "Until now, when I think of Korea, I usually think of K-pop and mobile phone companies, but this meeting has painted a different picture. I hope that the people of Thailand will know about this, too.”

After an interview with Thai state broadcaster MVTV, reporter Sorachat said, "Even though people come from different languages   and cultures, Chairman Lee's message will be the final answer to those seeking love and peace."

On June 19, 2013, during the 5th peace tour, MVTV, the state broadcaster of Thailand, visited the Shangri-La Hotel to report on Chairman Man-hee Lee

He said, “He is confident in his vision. If there is someone like Chairman Lee in our global village, which is rife with conflict including between South and North Korea, the goal of ‘world peace’ will be achieved.”

After recording the studio interview, Thai NBC news reporter Wizitrarundi said, “I am very impressed. It is amazing how an individual can show such a strong momentum not only for the peace of the country but also the peace of the world.”

In an interview with Korean media after returning from the tour, Chairman Lee said, "Filipino and Thai state broadcasters and daily news reporters mostly asked about world peace and restoration of light. I emphasized the role of government and youth. If you, the media, want peace, then you should join in, too.”

[HWPL] HWPL Peace Tours of Man-hee Lee (9): 'The Declaration of World Peace and Restoration of Light' is followed by a 'Vision of Peace’

Chairman Man-hee Lee, who held an Open Bible Seminar on June 14, 2013 in the Philippines, the first stop of the 5th Peace Tour, is delivering the word of truth. About 5,000 people, including local pastors and Protestants, participated in the two-day seminar, which was a great success.

"I realized that (God) wants all people to become one and make peace” - Testimony of a pastor who attended the seminar -

On May 25, 2013, Chairman Man-hee Lee proclaimed the Declaration of World Peace and Restoration of Light at the Peace Plaza in Olympic Park in Seoul in the presence of 30,000 youth from 130 countries. Filipino media showed great interest in the news of the arrival of Chairman Lee, who had launched a world peace movement and was encouraging youth to participate in the work of peace, in the capital Manila.

About 30 major media outlets, including the broadcaster GNN, radio stations, and newspapers, participated in the press conference on the 13th and asked numerous questions as they fiercely competed for coverage. Chairman Lee then appeared live on the state broadcaster PTV News and introduced the significance and activities for world peace and restoration of light in detail. Major media outlets in the Philippines daily reported Chairman Lee's progress toward world peace.

Local Christians are attending the Open Bible Seminar held at a local seminary in the Philippines on June 15, 2013

Chairman Lee informed locals that ‘God’s will is peace’ through the words of the Bible. After the two lectures, an additional two lectures, which included an invitational sermon at a Sunday service and a pastoral meeting, were held upon the request of local pastors.

Local pastors responded with surprise, on several occasions, at how passionately and fluently Chairman Lee delivered the flow of the entire Old and New Testaments over two hours without even once looking at the Bible, and the unprecedented teaching on the truth of the New Testament that they had never before heard. The two-day seminar was a great success, with about 5,000 people flocking to it, shattering the expectation that only a dozen or so people would attend. Even pastors who had been ministering for decades in the Philippines could not hide their surprise, saying that it was the first time they had attended a seminar with such a large number of attendees.

About 100 pastors and theologians are listening to Chairman Lee lecture at the Revelation seminar held for pastors in the Philippines on June 17, 2013

Dozens of local pastors voluntarily requested a meeting to listen to the Book of Revelation from Chairman Lee. The day before leaving the Philippines, about 100 pastors gathered at a nearby church and listened to the explanation about the Book of Revelation from Chairman Lee. After the meeting, a Question & Answer Session on the Bible continued until dinner.

One pastor said, "I sincerely thank you for bringing light to the Philippines." Pastors who visited Chairman Lee's accommodation that evening said that they wanted another opportunity to hear the Word and that they would gather many pastors.

On June 17, 2013, local pastors who heard Chairman Lee's lecture at the Revelation seminar gathered again over dinner to listen to the Word from Chairman Lee

During the subsequent trip to Thailand (June 18-20, 2013), Chairman Man-hee Lee met Phallop Thaiarry, Secretary General of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) for inter-religious exchange and peace. Chairman Lee said that if Buddhist and Christian circles, which are leading billions of believers worldwide, work hand in hand to achieve world peace, peace between religions will be accelerated. He asked for their cooperation.

In addition, Chairman Lee met Rommanee Kananurak, Deputy Director-General of the East Asian Affairs Department, and introduced International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and the IPYG Peace Walk held on May 25, 2013 at the Peace Plaza in Olympic Park, Seoul.

Chairman Lee meets members of four UN-registered youth groups, UNESCO Global Youth Community (GYC), and spoke words of encouragement on June 16, 2013, in the Philippines

He was invited by UNESCO Global Youth Community (GYC) Thailand, which is working for global peace and prosperity, and delivered the vision and lessons of peace to the youth. Earlier, in the Philippines, Chairman Lee also met members of four UN-registered youth groups (UNESCO Global Youth Community - GYC)  and delivered words of encouragement.

On June 19, 2013, Chairman Lee met Phallop Thaiarry, Secretary General of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) and presented his vision for world peace and took a commemorative photo together

While major local media outlets such as MVTV, Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Major Creation Broadcasting, and English newspapers in Thailand showed keen interest, Chairman Lee emphasised the need for active interest from media companies in each country for world peace.

[HWPL] Nations of Korean War and HWPL. Serial Posting 8. Thailand

[HWPL]

[HWPL] Nations of Korean War and HWPL. Serial Posting 8. Thailand

Year 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War which scarred the whole Korean peninsula in the 20th century. Two ideologies (democracy and communism) clashed on a small peninsula as 21 countries fought for the ideologies they followed and more than 50 countries helping one side with medical or financial support. All people struggled for the peace that they believed in, resulting in more than one million casualties. Today, Chairman Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) are working together with people throughout the world for sustainable world peace. I begin these serial postings recalling the Korean War, paying respect to all those who fought and sacrificed their lives in the Korean War, and inform you how Mr. Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) have been working for world peace and for future generations :)

Every week, I will write about one country that participated in the Korean War and how the country has been working together with Chairman Man Hee Lee and these peace groups for world peace :)

Today's countries is Thailand.

Thailand dispatched more than 6,326 soldiers and they suffered more than 1,300 damages including death, casualties, lost and POWs. They usually served as reconnaissance and navy.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), who is also a veteran of the Korean War, underwent all kinds of cruelty and hardship during the Korean War and has been working for world peace since 2012. VIPs and citizens of Thailand have been jointly worked for the world peace with HWPL with passion towards the peace and harmony. They have participated in the WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) World Peace Festival every September 18th, May 25th Peace Walk, the Legislate Peace project, WARP Meeting & Interfaith Dialogue, Peace Letter campaign and more initiatives to achieve world peace with Chairman Man Hee Lee and the peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG).

I'm certain and hopeful that people in France and Togo will keep working with Chairman Man Hee Lee and HWPL for world peace and a brighter future for future generations as they have done so far :)
