In the Philippines, he received worldwide attention as he played a decisive arbitration role in ending the conflict in the largest conflict zone.

On the other hand, through peace tours in Eastern Europe and Central and South America, he gathered hearts through works of peace with the Romi, Maya, and Inca peoples - ancient civilizations with long histories.

The government of Guatemala and the city of Veracruz, Mexico presented letters of appreciation for Chairman Lee's peaceful acts.

After returning to Korea, he departed again and went on a gruelling schedule in 7 countries, including the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia, and Costa Rica, from October 30th to November 16th. Although a difficult schedule for even a young person to handle, Chairman Lee, who was over 80, worked through all busy schedules to achieve a consensus of ‘world peace’.

In the history of the 8th peace tour in January 2014, Chairman Lee received attention as he played a decisive arbitration role in ending the 40-year conflict in Mindanao, the Philippines, which was the largest conflict zone in Asia.

The event on Mindanao Island is a historical one in which a Korean peace activist accomplished something that the Philippine government was unable to achieve as a 40-year religious conflict between Catholics and Muslims raged on. The 40-year history of conflict rooted in religion was brought to an end through a peace movement that transcends religion. The fact that the representatives of each religion in Mindanao, who had been at loggerheads with each other, signed the “Peace Agreement” prepared by Chairman Lee and thereby agreed to the cessation of war and world peace, astonished the global community, not just communities within the Philippines.

On January 27th 2014, Chairman Lee talked with Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, Cardinal of Manila, Philippines

At that time, Chairman Lee appeared live on the Philippine national broadcasting station PTV's 'Good Morning Boss' and explained the process in detail. PTV responded with great surprise that a world peace activist from Korea successfully brought an end to the conflict in Mindanao which had been dragging on for 40 years. This content was also reported in the Philippine private media, which expressed its gratitude, saying, "The representative of a private organization in the Republic of Korea has accomplished a task that the government could not solve."

Live news Telenoticias 23 in Guatemala City extensively reported on Chairman Lee's wreath at the Peace Monument at the Presidential Palace. The peace monument's wreath is only granted to those who have contributed greatly to world peace, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was the only Korean recipient before Chairman Lee.

In addition, Chairman Lee and the peace mission signed a peace agreement with the national leaders of 14 million Incas in Peru. 1. This is truly beautiful work. Many heads of state - both existing and former - have publicly declared their support for HWPL's Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), citing it as the only solution to ceasing all conflict and achieving peace on a global scale. In the words of H.E. Viktor Yushchenko, former President of Ukraine: “The DPCW is a perfect and balanced document that can be the basis of solidarity for peacekeeping in all countries of the world. I think all the leaders of the countries should support the DPCW.” May peace prevail throughout the world!✌
