[HWPL] Nations of Korean War and HWPL. Serial Posting 4. Canada

Year 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War which scarred the whole Korean peninsula in the 20th century. Two ideologies (democracy and communism) clashed on a small peninsula as 21 countries fought for the ideologies they followed and more than 50 countries helping one side with medical or financial support. All people struggled for the peace that they believed in, resulting in more than one million casualties. Today, Chairman Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) are working together with people throughout the world for sustainable world peace. I begin these serial postings recalling the Korean War, paying respect to all those who fought and sacrificed their lives in the Korean War, and inform you how Mr. Man Hee Lee and his peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) have been working for world peace and for future generations :)

Every week, I will write about one country that participated in the Korean War and how the country has been working together with Chairman Man Hee Lee and these peace groups for world peace :)

Today's country is Canada.

Canada dispatched more than 25,000 soldiers and they suffered more than 1,500 damages including death, casualties, lost and POWs. They served as infantry, air-force and navy.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), who is also a veteran of the Korean War, underwent all kinds of cruelty and hardship during the Korean War and has been working for world peace since 2012. HWPL established its HWPL WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Office for Interfaith Dialogue at Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, and VIPs and citizens of Canada have been jointly worked for the world peace with HWPL with passion towards the peace and harmony. They have participated in the WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) World Peace Festival every September 18th, May 25th Peace Walk, the Legislate Peace project, WARP Meeting & Interfaith Dialogue, Peace Letter campaign and more initiatives to achieve world peace with Chairman Man Hee Lee and the peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG).

I'm certain and hopeful that people in Canada will keep working with Chairman Man Hee Lee and HWPL for world peace and a brighter future for future generations as they have done so far :)

Peace!

From September 7th-8th 2019 in San Francisco, more than 190 people including religious leaders, civil organization leaders and journalists gathered at San José City Hall for HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairman: Mr. Man Hee Lee) 5th Anniversary of the WARP (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) Summit.

The event was held to write Peace Letters to global heads of state to urge them to support the implementation of international peace law and to understand different religions. It was hosted by the WARP Office Interfaith Dialogue with a speech from a member of the HWPL International Law Peace Committee, which drafted the DPCW's (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) 10 articles and 38 clauses for world peace. Concrete measures for achieving world peace were proposed.

All VIPs and participants discussed practical measures for implementing the DPCW through the U.N General Assembly and agreed on the necessity of peace throughout the world.

Peace!

Finally, the day has come! Today is the day of the 2019 HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) World Peace Summit "Legislate Peace".

There are many upcoming peace events for VIPs and participants to discuss and improve HWPL's peace campaign. Before I introduce you to the events, I first want to tell you about HWPL :)

HWPL was established in 2013 as a Peace NGO under the UN's ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (South Korea). It consists of HWPL, IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) to carry out peace work most efficiently with many people. Chairman Man Hee Lee, founder of HWPL, is a Korean War veteran who has experienced the cruel and tragic war on the front lines. After the war, he decided to make an organization to achieve world peace to pass on a peaceful world to future generations.

Today, Mr. Man Hee Lee and the peace groups (HWPL, IWPG and IPYG) have been carrying out "Legislate Peace" campaign which aims to urge and support the enactment of the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) with its 10 articles and 38 clauses as international law. The DPCW is appraised as the only answer for world peace and to permanently resolve all global wars and conflicts.
