[HWPL] HWPL Chairperson Manhee Lee's Peace Journey in Europe and Americas
[The Peace Journey of Korean Man Hee Lee (4)]
“The Creator’s Will Is Peace”... From Europe to the Americas
In July 2012, Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, expanded his second peace tour beyond Europe to the United States. The tour was arranged following invitations from overseas religious leaders he had met during his first international visit. Throughout the journey, he delivered lectures focused on the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, the importance of faith, and the need to establish lasting world peace.
Describing the mission as “From the East to the West,” Lee emphasized his belief that the fulfillment of New Testament prophecies had occurred in South Korea and that this message should be shared with the Western world. He taught that the Creator’s ultimate purpose is a peaceful world free from suffering, conflict, and death.
In Belgium, around 300 believers attended his seminar and expressed strong interest in his interpretation of the Bible. Similar enthusiasm followed in New York, where approximately 300 religious leaders and believers participated in a Bible seminar and requested additional lectures and educational programs.
The tour continued in Orange County, California, where about 1,500 people gathered at Crystal Cathedral to hear his message. Local media also covered the event, and attendees reportedly responded positively to the lectures.
Covering Belgium, Germany, New York, and California, the second peace tour helped spread a message of religious understanding and peace. According to the article, Man Hee Lee consistently encouraged people to leave a world free from war for future generations, a vision that later developed into HWPL’s broader international peace movement.
