[HWPL] 2019 HWPL World Peace Summit in Suva, Fiji

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light; Chairman Man Hee Lee) reported that "2019 HWPL World Peace Summit" was hosted on September 3rd at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji, under the title "Legislate Peace - Implementation of the DPCW for Sustainable Development." Representatives and leaders of womens and youth organizations, religious leaders, political leaders and the press participated in the event, including the Minister and Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports.

As the South Pacific is one of the regions which suffered during World War 2, summit participants gave speeches and engaged in discussion about the importance of citizens in South Pacific working together with HWPL to bring peace to their region and throughout the world.

During the keynote speech, Mr. Epeli Vakatawa of Fiji TV said: "In South Pacific, we had experienced World War II and a colonial era. During World War II, the beautiful South Pacific regions were tested with nuclear weapons and people were exploited....."

Therefore, HWPL held the event to urge leaders and citizens of the South Pacific to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) and to reply to Peace Letters for the implementation of the DPCW through the U.N. The DPCW consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses for sustainable peace and spreading of peace culture.

During the event, HWPL signed an MOU with the South Pacific press, and more than 100 participants wrote peace letters in support of the DPCW.
