[Peace news] IPYG Joins Peace Program for the World Peace

A wing of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Chairperson: Mr. Man Hee Lee) called IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) collaborated with SCEAD (Space for Children in Education Art and Development) for world peace and to commemorate the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The event was co-presented by the Japanese embassy, IPYG and St. Joseph's College of Commerce. Representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Malaysia, Africa, Scotland and China jointly worked for the event, too.

SCEAD has been hosting peace programs for 20 years and the organization will send the signature cloth to the prime ministers of India and Pakistan.

Katsumasa Maruo, Deputy Consul-General of Japan in Bengaluru, said: "Despite cultural differences, we need to embrace the idea, and peace must come from the roots within us."


This event has been hosted every year to spread the significance of world peace globally. The group's statement said, "Younger generation has been victimised due to wars, and bringing them together in support of their rights will enable future generation to live peacefully", which corresponds with the will of HWPL's peace campaign and vision.

Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL has always been emphasizing the need to pass on a peaceful world to the next generations as an eternal legacy as so many youth lost their lives without the opportunity to realize their dreams in a world marred by conflict and war caused by religion and politics. 

Given that HWPL has been urging people everywhere to support the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) for the achievement of world peace, it is very inspiring that more and more peace NGOs are collaborating with HWPL for their peace initiatives, and, ultimately, for world peace.
